Great video! Just hit 70 on my druid last week and did my first raid today. I couldn't really figure out why on some fights my healing was just way off but i didn't realize this whole stacking mechanic at all. I'm glad you explained it! Druid healing makes more sense to me now and i'm ready to optimize^^ Thanks for making this!
nice video this is what I was looking for since I'm getting back into druid healing, the only thing i could see and its fight specific would be dropping heart of the wild to pick up incap for Raz especially on heroic. great video overall
Thank you for these really helpful insights I was running a full Lifebloom + Verdancy build before patch 10.0.5 even in raid because it just felt good to me Switched to a similar build than yours yesterday and it felt weird at first going for a Rejuv build but MAN seeing all those double Rejuvs just pop up out seemingly out of nowhere felt really good I am still debating if I should bring adaptive swarm to the raids just for the massive passive healing but I wouldn't know what to drop for it
I used to run AS in raids but the extra button annoyed me. I wouldn't run it for the hots build but would run it if you use the LB build on tanks/mele.
if you're coming up to a huge healing window, i would cast heart of the wild, convoke with tree and macro flourish+nature's vigil, on top of all the other things you've already recommended :) nice guide
Hey Nogylopp, thanks for the vids, just subscribed. Sorry if you already covered this somewhere else, but what Weak Aura are you using? Growl's? How do you get your icons to glow with that yellow dotted line border when they are off cooldown? Do you know how to add a sound when a specifical ability comes off cooldown? THANK YOU!
yo, yeah its growl's but i modified it. The WA in the description below and yes i know how to add a sound, i rely on that heavily on my hpal more so than my druid. If you join our discord its probably easier to help than commenting here. But you can also google it if you dont want to join up, no worries at all!
Hey man thanks for the video! Im a holy priest main that maintains about 65k hps but the whole casting thing annoys me so am gearing a resto druid. That 4 set slaps
would have to disagree with the tiger dash. Wild charge is just op. can leap to friendly targets and just go travel form and leap in if u get blown off platform. Go catform to reduce fall dmg taken.
hey nogylopp. i hope you see this! i just started playing wow for the first time. my first toon is a restoration druid, and i love it, however, i definitely did not spec the way you did. i think im going to have to try it because i think my build is kind of ass rn. also, can you tell me what plugins you use and how you set your keybinds? your UI looks super sleek!
I saw it! Welcome to the show!!! So all of my add ons are in my discord which should be linked in the video description! As far as the build goes this is a season 1 build and the talent tree has changed quite a bit! Have you checked wowhead or the Druid discord for an updated one?
Do you use the rejuvenation build for both raids and keys? I do and I love it. I don’t like the swarm build at all, also why do you run the elemental phial vice the versa phial? I know the secondary stats change between raids and keys. nice content and thank you
thank you! I don't for the current patch but i definitely m+. You can find it here: hruclips.net/video/JyWMNmMcxeM/видео.html but its for 10.0.0 and not much as changed but it will definitely get you started.
If the whole point is to "ramp", then why did you not take Embrace of the Dream? a burst of healing on everyone with rejuv (which is what youre doing) when you wild growth is great at giving a lot of people a little oomph to keep them healthy
If im ramping ill try to backtrack and double up once most people have 1, or is the tank is getting smacked they'll get 2. Otherwise, yeah let the proc do its thing.
Hey m8, great guide! I am playing also resto druid. Let's see if I am getting right the ramp section is : prepot - rezu to a lot people, then swiftment (tree on) , wild growth - convoke- flourish ... Yeah? Also off-ramp, we throw rezuvanations to build 2 stacks of tree thing?
I don't know if you'll see this comment but what addon are you using to change the floating healing text font? I have elvui and changing the floating combat text font in the elvui menu is not changing the default font.
Hey, thanks for the guide!. You said we take "Heart of the Wild" if we want to cat-weave, but don't actually take any cat talents? Also: I don't like the Reforestation talent and you didn't mention it in this guide. Is there an alternative to that?
doh! I'm sorry if i mispoke on that, maybe i had m+ brain and said that :) as far as alternatives i don't believe there would be any but this talent is very good for raids and i would suggest taking it. It's passive and a set and forget thing.
Hi nogy! Just curious at what %%% I should have my haste mastery at. My haste is at 27 and mastery is at 14.6. Should I focus more on mastery ?? Or continue haste ? Been trying to find where it shows where my stats start to flatline but I can’t find it
Hey! Thank you for this guide. How do you balance reforestation stacks? Should it always be lined with convoke the spirits? I seem to be struggling to balance the synergy between: swiftmend, wild growth, and reforestation
Honestly? I don't worry about it it TOO much and let it happen natuarally but in fights where i know ill be ramping in sequence with other healers, i will try to make sure i have 2 stacks or try to proc the 3rd going into my ramp. That is pretty min/maxy but for prog ill do it...when i remember :)
In progression it gets complicated because you may have assigned CD’s, but outside progression you will have lots of ramps available. Convoke 60s, flourish 90s, tranq 2 min, and tree on proc. In most gameplay I let the proc comes naturally, then depending what is off CD and what the damage pattern is choose one of the 3; swiftmend-wild growth then one of your 3 CD’s, or 2 for massive heals. If you do something like convoke-flourish you will have a CD gap latter, which is fine for burst but not great for sustain heal fights. Tree can also be a standalone lite-ramp with instant regrowths for lesser damage. Consider macro’ing trinkets or racial abilities in with flourish, convoke, or tranq for a boost.
Yep, i always cast it on my flourish ramp. I do not hold it for tree of life, i suppose i could but i don't feel like timing those and holding on to it is beneficial with everything else going on mechanic wise.
hah! yeah mana is still KIND OF an issue but not as bad. I use the chillglobe which helps but as your raid gets more gear bosses will die faster and you won't have to use as much mana.
How do you like raiding so far now that we are half way through the tier? Let us know!

You're very much welcome!
Been gearing out my druid as an alt from my priest. Going to hard switch, I believe. Your video couldn't have better timing for m! Thanks!

No cap, gearing my druid alt from my main MW monk. Lmao must be a trend right now! Also love the content, can we maybe get a M+ build???

hmmm...i've never manually changed this. I've always used Elvui default settings. Interesting.

Tank and DPS 90% of the time for verd procs and myself and tank for when lots of dmg is going out for faster heals.

can you recommend a resto druid talent build for "heroic raszageth"
Yep. This build in the raid guide video right before this one :) I have multiple H Raz kills with it.
Any benefit of moving flourish to after tranq to buff all the tranq dots rolling?
