Hey guys, I have converted this recipe measures to metrics! Gingerbread man (12 cookies) 84g of butter 50g of brown sugar 113g (78ml) 2g of cinnamon 2g of ground ginger Half of teaspoon of ground allspice 1/2 tspn of ground cloves 1/2 tapn of baking soda 1/4 tspn of salt 250g of all purpose flower
I tried out this recipe, except I doubled the amount of spices since I saw some people here saying it wasn't strong enough. And let me say, it is amazing! Thank you for this wonderful recipe! :)

I just baked these and they came out pretty good! The only thing is I wish the spice was a little stronger but the classic gingerbread flavor is definitely there. I am overall very impressed with these cookies especially the softness and the chewiness. Thanks for the recipe I’ll be checking out more of your stuff in the future!
I tried this recipe and the first time the dough was a little too soft. I tried it again the next day (because I really need to bring some to my family’s Christmas dinner) but I added 2 cups of flour versus 1 3/4. That did the trick! Everyone who’s sampled the cookies love them. Thank you so much for this recipe because come Christmas Eve my daughters and I will have some special treats to make together.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one with this issue 😭😭 I added the egg last on accident and it made my batter runny like old timer slime 😔 it was also my second time attempting to make gingerbreadmen (with my cousins) so I ende dup adding an extra 1/4. Hopefully they come out good because i haven't had gingerbreadmen in years 🙏😭

I finally had time after the holidays today to make this recipe from scratch. The cookies came out PERFECT! Just wanted to tell you Thank you so much because it's an easy recipe and the cookies are so tasty. It always takes me more time to measure and mix. I used to buy gingerbread cookie dough and make them that way because it was easy ,but could not find any prepared dough last year in December so I knew I had to make them from scratch. It's worth the extra effort and time . They are wonderful! Thank you! Love this video. They're delicious and ky 4 year old granddaughter had fun and loved eating them! She liked the frosting and sprinkles! God bless!

I highly recommend to get a rolling pin with measure rings for your dough, so every cookie is the same size. Thanks for the tip for sticky ingredients! I easily washed my cup! And now I use the same tip for peanut butter cookies! Tip: small or thin shapes get cooked faster (snowflakes). Thanks for the recipe! ❤️✨🎄

i tried this recipe, i couldn't find all kind of ground ginger, ground clove and molasses. In my country there is red sugar or sugar we make into big cubes of palm sugar.. what i did , i boiled the sugar and put a few cloves and crush ginger... in turned out so delicious ur cookies without allspice of course.. thank you ... i don't celebrate christmas but i love christmas celebration i i've been dying to try how gingerbread cookies taste like... tqsm

You're not alone, I had the same problem. This recipe tells you much too little flour. Maybe she lives in a really really dry climate or something lol.
