- We're going to talk about how to move to Italy or basically how to get anything in life. Don't get frustrated that we are talking about the actions you should take instead of specific scenarios in Italy. I think you'll find this video useful in making any decisions in life. Keep an open mind!

Now, some of those are going to be shorts and some of those are going to be long form videos. It's been a long time coming.
we're going to talk about three things that you can do today that will help you in your move to Italy, if that's what you're planning. And if you're not planning on Italy, I can even take Italy out of this whole conversation and we can just talk in general. If you're expecting me to talk about visas, any updates about things like the digital Nomad visa are not part of this video.
What I'm going to talk about is probably really what's blocking you at this moment or what's made it so you have to accomplish this move to Italy. Up until now.

I had a similar experience at 26, but only moved a 6 hour drive away to find my wife. You have a beautiful family and I'm jealous of your lives in Italy. Prior to my cancer diagnosis 5 years ago we were exploring the idea of moving overseas and Italy was on the list.
Thanks for sharing! I've been following your progress a bit when you've posted on Facebook. I am impressed you've kept your great attitude even through the challenges. We ought to connect more often! I know I haven't done my part in that regard, but I'm glad to hear from you!

It’s great to see you back on RUclips again. Delicious looking salad. Since I was 12, I had a dream to live in Europe and I have but staying there permanently has always been out of reach since relationships there never worked out. However, I’ve been working and saving for years and last month, I spent about a month traveling around Europe, mostly in Italy. It was amazing, of course and I think I zeroed in on the area that is perfect for me. Unfortunately, i didn’t find the dream property yet so I’m planning another trip to Italy in spring to look at more properties and with any luck, make an offer. I’ve heard it takes a few trips before the final step should be taken. One problem that I’m facing is the language barrier. Most of the properties I’ve seen appear to be for sale by owner so when I called to ask about the property, if they answered, we couldn’t understand each other. Therefore, I need to find a translator who can make the calls for me. Hope to see you next time and until then, best wishes.
Great progress made! It's nice to hear when good things happen! Yes, multiple visits is the best way forward. What you see online can be disappointing in person. You'll have to let me know where you land. Also, feel free to reach out if you need someone to make a few calls.
@@DauvOThanks so much! I have a list of phone numbers from the houses I saw but I’m apprehensive about calling since my previous calls didn’t work out well. Around the time of my next visit, I might send you a few of the numbers by email. Also, I got an idea about driving my own vehicle in Italy. I have a Spanish tax code so I thought about renting a place in Spain, opening a new bank account there and buying a car. Then i should be able to just drive it to Italy and use it. Of course I may have to drive it back each year to register it again. Is it a bad idea?
Welcome back David! Great video, I always like your content about mindset because I study this also.
I went to Italy August- Sept. to meet up with friends and check out homes.
It was over 100 degrees Fahrenheit some days and a local warned me not to go out, saying I’d faint within minutes.
I realized that I didn’t want to live in Sicily and deal with the heat every summer.
So I’m trying to find areas with less extreme summers, in the north of Italy.

Yes that part was pretty straightforward for us, She's trying to convince me to become a citizen, but I haven't made up my mind on that one.
