    Thank you Kayleigh I wanted to know what the "Jigger" was and listening to you and seeing how you work it has cleared that up for me. I'm relatively new to pole fishing so still have a lot to learn and I'm now thinking that I should have started using a pole years ago. Thanks again Martin

      Can only try 🤞

  • @malcrandall1309
    @malcrandall1309 2 года назад

    Kayleigh, I'm a great fan of the Jigger. I can understand the reason for the short hook length but could better results be gained by using a slightly longer hook length (4") or longer. How the heck do you tie a 2" hook length?

    • @UKprestoninnovations
      @UKprestoninnovations  2 года назад +2

      It's personal preference. Alan Scotthorne for example swears by a 6in hooklength so there are no hard and fast rules.
      We will try do a video on the short hooklengths

    Definitely a good and funny technic when fishs are ready . Tx for this movie ! Think , when small fishs raise to the gozzers swapping to pellet on the hook , more difficult for them to catch it .
    What is this yellow ''soup ''shown during the video ? What is the purpose of use and how to use it ?

    • @UKprestoninnovations
      @UKprestoninnovations  2 года назад

      It's a slop made from supercrush expander groundbait. It can be very effective for f1s as they feed well in the cloud it creates

    • @UKprestoninnovations
      @UKprestoninnovations  2 года назад +1

      You are right. But when using a live maggot, it can wriggle out of the bait band. A dead maggot will stay in the band for several fish.
