can you please help me change my startup screen image, and what I mean by startup is the screen image that appears when I turn on my PC and before I log in

Do you have tablet mode on? I had the same problem and had full screen turned of but it would not go back to normal but then figured out it’s because tablet mode was on

I have the *"CBS All Access"* TV Streaming App. I have just loaded the app to my 17 inch *HP by-0026 Touchscreen Notebook computer.* When I try to run the app, *nothing happens!* I find myself, looking at the screen that tells me the show or movie, that I've selected using the app, *but I don't get anything but a black screen!*

My desktop is in a specific order. When something windows doesnt like, my desktop goes to the left and in mostly alphabetical order. This is very irritating. How do I keep my customization irregardless if windows likes default better than my customized desktop.

Mine doesn't work like that. I have installed Mozilla Thunderbird, Skype and removed Yahoo Messenger. Thunderbird and Skype does not appear anywhere in the start menu or in Apps. Yahoo Messenger remains in Start tiles and most used even though it was uninstalled.

Sometimes windows start button hops upon the far right hand side of the screen.Sometimes on the top left hand side of the screen as a drop down list of apps

Once the Taskbar in where you want it to be (select, drag and drop), then Right click on Taskbar and select "Lock the Taskbar".

Click on "Action Center" icon (lower right hand corner of Task bar) > once Action Center is open, click on "Tablet Mode" to turn off Tablet Mode display. Try "Start Menu" again.

How do I delete a tile? I'm starting to get quite a bit annoyed by the live Xbox tiles. I don't have an Xbox, and I never plan on owning one. It just... it bothers my OC tendencies.
Right click on the tile you want to delete and select "Unpin tile"

My screen does not look like this when I click on the four squares in the lower left. You screen shows, from the bottom up, all apps, then power, settings, and file explorer. Mine shows only an icon that says power when I hover over it, and then an icon that says settings when I hover over it, and another that says file explorer when I hover over it. How can I make my screen look like yours? This is so very frustrating, as I cannot find out how to do anything except on ONE program I installed myself, and even then, the computer decided to remove my icon. It is now stuck at the bottom of the screen with a bunch of other stuff that I can't figure out. Also, that new explorer is a piece of work. This is a new surface pro and I am very thankful that my old arthritic windows 7 computer is still at least barely able to boot, as I go to it when I want to get anything done instead of wasting time trying to figure this thing out. Why does the computer insist on pulling up bing, which is a useless bloatware. I have not done anything to change settings, so how can I make my screen look like yours so I can at least try to use this tutorial. Thankyou.

Sorry there's nothing fun or easy about windows. When the keyboard is attacted to the tablet the screen won't rotate and is in the wrong direction. When I remove the keyboard the screen will auto rotate. I hate windoze 10. Nothing but a virus. I want Windows 7 back.

If you right click on the Start Menu it will open a hidden Menu. You will see "System" in the Menu. Once Windows 10 "System" windows is open you can also click on "System Info" on right top side of screen. Hope this helps you out.

Click on "Action Center" icon (lower right hand corner of Task bar) > once Action Center is open, click on "Tablet Mode" to turn off Tablet Mode display. Try "Start Menu" again.
hey Nick, can you tell me how I can enable the Search on my Taskbar like you have. I know how to disable Cortana, but when I turn it off the only thing that still shows is the Task View (and I want to keep that)

I've got that answer from someone else also, but when I right click on my TaskBar, I don't get any sorta Search option. I get a option to turn off Cortana and to Show Task View, but no Search option. You have been automatically updated to the Windows 10 Anniversary Update version from Microsoft. It's the latest version of Windows 10. Unfortunately uninstalling the update would cause all kinds of future security and functionality issues.
I turned off the "Full screen" from the start setting, cause I don't want the icons to appear in my background. But the problem is, the icons are still in the background! It is still "Full screen"! how do I change it to "Start menu"? is there another way than the start setting?

How to add icon to my I pad
After an upgrade I ended up with a page which is shifted 1/4" to the left. There is a gap on the right and an overlap on the left.I can catch the edge of the page on the right and pull it left but it will only return to a point away from the right hand side of the monitor. Also the return arrow is covered. Any ideas on how to get the page back to center?
Right click empty space on Windows 10 Desktop and click Display Settings or Adjust screen via physical monitor Menu setting on the monitor hardware.
There is nothing that I could find in Display Settings which allows me shift the page. As for the Physical Monitor Menu or the Monitor Hardware, even with Google they could not be found?

I am very disappointed with being forced to see the start screen when my pc wakes up. I want to see my desktop instead. Is there a registry edit I can do to force windows to simply show the desktop on startup? I don't need and I have never used the start screen "feature"

Can I get rid of the start menu tiles all together?
If you want, you can unpin all the tiles and then shrink the size of the menu to only get your list of apps, though you're sacrificing lots of productivity, I have the apps list hidden so when I open the Start menu it gives me my tiles that I customized to my liking, plus I can see live information without actually having to open the app.

A recent Microsoft Automatic Feature Update for Windows 10 released on Aug 2, 2016 has now changed the Start Menu. There is now a left skinny column and there are 4 icons on the lower left: Your Account, File Explorer, Settings and Power icons.

Ok, I need help and Microsoft's website is too hard to navigate and find email help, but here is my problem. I was downloading the Windows 10 installer, which went fine. Then when I clicked it, a little while later one of the automatic updates interrupted the upgrade. Now, when I use the installer it says to restart my computer and try again, which did absolutely nothing. I don't want to factory reset and retry, so what do I do?

Christopher Dutko Rule #1 : if your existing system is not broken don't break it. I would wait a few days and see if Microsoft refines and fine tunes the Windows 10 installation. An update might get automatically pushed out that resolves your issue.
