Agreed, 2002 UM and '98 UM are essentially what Super Mario World and Super Mario Bros. 3 are to 2D Mario games in my opinion. Probably not a good comparison or analogy, but it's one that comes to mind to me since those are my all time favorite Mario games and 2002 UM and '98 UM happen to be my all time favorite KOF games.
