    Heather this ABSOLUTELY THE MOST SUPERB VIDEO...sincerely, you are SUCH a WONDERFUL teacher! step by step with demonstration. I literally cried today in frustration in the... what do i do first, what product, how and when to find the SEO's, over braining the images to find...total freeze down.
    Thank you so very much, for helping me out here (and others). I am so very grateful! Time is SO limited and burnout from the JOB.

    It looks like you need to have Canva pro to do a transparent background, and therefore being able to use any other color of product besides white.
    Do you think it’s pretty much necessary to do get the pro version and pay the fee? There doesn’t seem to be any way around it since the background thing is a big issue with the free version. Thanks!

    I am a somewhat self-proclaimed expert at complicating my designs or any project really I work with. I really mean it when I say that EVERY single time I always end up with the simplest design in the end. I get to much into details and end up spending hours on something that becomes to much work in the end and I either give up or end up with a huge cluttered thing just because I zoom in too much on the details.
    I need some mantras to keep at hand to keep things simple, any suggestions? 🙏🏻

    • @itsheatherstudio
      @itsheatherstudio  Год назад

      I suggest focusing on evergreen niches when it’s November. Generally the chance to rank right now is low and evergreen items(really most niches) sell in the holidays but the reason to design for evergreen right now is because after the holidays are over your sales will not continue. Some people chase holidays- which is great for a ‘cash injection’ around this time of year, and others strategy is evergreen for consistent sales. I like to lean on the evergreen side and you do see a double to triple in revenue in each niche, whether it’s seasonal or holiday. Hopefully this helps!❤️

    According to canva rules, I thought we couldn't use their graphics "as is" without altering them in some way so as to make it our own. Shouldn't the Cristmas trees design have some sort of text or another element?

    • @itsheatherstudio
      @itsheatherstudio  2 года назад +3

      Canva has stated that if you incorporate two elements together this is considered altering of the graphics and designs. I have emailed them directly about the designs I post since I am on RUclips and these are approved use due to I have 4 tree elements. If I used only one tree as is, this would be against their terms and conditions. I suggest to anyone who's hesitant to post a design to send a screenshot of your design to Canva's support if still questioning your own designs and if they are okay to use. Hopefully this helps! :)

      She has another account. Because it'll mess up her co version rate when all of her yourube traffic visits her shop bur don't purchase.
      It'll mess up her analytics too. I also have a "test" shop when showing tutorials on my other channel. I don't show it directly from my main income etsy shop

    I'm so tired of trying etsy. It's like I literally don't exist there. I tried everything, SEOs , pics, descriptions... I just don't know... so defeating :(

    I don't know who to listen to. The people who say to come up with unique designs that no one else is doing or to do things similar to designs that are selling already. 🥺

      I am no expert, my store is just about a year old and I’m still working towards my first 100 sales, but I would say there is a mix of seeing what people want and giving them a unique version of it. If you copy others it is possible for you to be reported and could jeopardize your listing or shop. I try to make things based off of what I see people searching for but what I’m passionate about so I can give my unique perspective on it. Don’t be afraid to try and adjust from what you’re seeing. At least then you have something to work with. I was most stuck with how to start. Don’t give up!

    This must be so hard to actually do, there’s so many people doing the same thing

      that's because what she is suggesting doesn't work. you can't just slap a premade graphic on a sweat
      shirt and expect to sell it for $10 more than most sellers. Gotta come up with something a bit more unique.
