My name is Charles Alan Edge and my dad is Charles Nelson Edge. My grandmother used to babysit Brenda Lee. Brenda had a crush on my dad and my dad started her first fan group. She got her start by singing at East Lithonia Baptist Church in Lithonia Ga. My dad helped in organizing Brenda Lee day and getting a street named after her. Her sister and her niece was the only people who came by our house when my mother died. She brought a pot of homemade chili.
