More Info at: www.set-rite.com The Full Extender Kit can be used by DiYers and plumbers alike. The key to a good toilet installation seal is having the flange be at the finished floor height. Although many may think just using an additional wax ring or two (stacking) will work fine. This is not the correct method and could lead to extensive damage to your sub-floor and surrounding structural areas of your home if your toilet begins to leak.. Set-Rite's motto is Set it Once, Set it Right...with Set-Rite. Check out this video to learn how easy it is to install!!

What about a product for where the flange sits too high? A common problem in old homes that have settled.

This product is about to save me much time and money fixing what I thought was to be a bad problem. The old iron flange is 1" below the tile level. Looks like this system will give the correct solution without tearing out the tile. Many Thanks!

Ok, Where to start, Don't let them scare you into spending more money then you need to on a product that won't last as long! Abs fittings are cheap and they litterally make different flanges for all kinds of different situations. I'm a Plumber, we don't install a w/c flange without knowing the finished height of a floor, if we don't know or can't get that info we will extend the pipe well above finished floor (cap it) and then buy a flange that fits into 3" pipe, therefore allowing us to cut the pipe down and install the flange after the floor has been installed. dont be worried that the pipe inside diameter will then be around 2.75"s because there probably isnt a w/c or bidet on the market today that has an inside diameter larger then 2.5"s.. however this product would be handy to raise a flange without the need of a plumber if you were doing a reno and the new floor will be higher then the old, I am just a little worried about that gasket though, it will dry out and crack eventually which will lead to damaged sub floor/leaks..

I actually looked at Lowes. I found it at Penn Supply in Trenton NJ. They have them hanging on the wall and this is a wholesale place where almost everything is behind the counter.

The spacers and Extender are made of the same material as a normal toilet flange. It was structurally designed to provide a water & gas tight seal.
    Thank you for the interest.

My pvc flange is broken where the johnny bolt goes. I rigged it, but now it's time to remodel. It looks like this will help me(so I don't have to break out a jackhammer). There is beautiful 80's linoleum down now. I will be putting down tile.So it looks like I should tile up to the flange, then put the extender on and the toilet would sit on top of the tile. correct?

Do you have video that deals with concrete floors and iron cast flange ( condo buildings) ? I assume your stainless steel screws are not applicable, and TAPCON screws are required?

Four Seals?? I hope that they don't 'squeeze' into the flange and block the pipe. I have seen it happen before...plus the wax does not automatically form a 'tunnel'...If you used four wax rings then you must have had a flange that was close to 2" too low...Hope it doesn't leak on you...
