Yo I'm cooking with this idea. Have an episode of Imperialism that takes place in the Americas. If you calculate all the countries on mainland North and South America, Alaska and Hawaii separate from US, add Greenland and French Guiana, include The Bahamas, Cuba, Jamaica, Haiti, Dominican Republic, combine all the island countries east of Dominican Republic and north of Venezuela as one (can simplify it to Puerto Rico), you should get 32 spots. This would mean you can't get expansions, which being a one-off episode shouldn't affect the standings too much. Also makes it to where whichever team gets selected by the wheel, that team can't avoid conflict. Instead of disasters, they will be replaced by the powerups. Teams start out with zero powerups at first, after that for every 6 teams eliminated, a new powerup can go to two teams selected by the wheel. There can be a wheel for which power up is given before spinning for the two teams. Of course, only powerups that don't rely on expansions should be used in this episode, so no Clone or Pioneer (or any other one that does that). Keep that up until you reach the final 2, so from 26, to 20, to 14, and to 8 teams remaining makes it a total 4 powerup types given, 8 powerups total before the final 2. Once it gets to the remaining 2 teams, they should be automatically given the Afterlife powerup, making it the only reserved powerup. Am I cooking like Gordan or burning like Russ?
Of course I want Dean to take my idea and make it similar, while adding his own small twists to it if he desires. He could probably also add power-downs again.

You should make a new power up called new hope where if a team lands on it you can spin the wheel of eliminated teams to add them to a separate territory but they’re considered part of the team that got the power up.
So instead of Clone where the second spot is a backup plan, this can be like the team hiring mercenaries, adding the eliminated team back in the wheel where it increases the odds of the team with the powerup being selected. I like the idea.
I think that for balance you need to start only letting each team get landed on once per "round". It's not fair that some teams have expanded like 5 times before another team gets their turn.
Agreed, I’m not very picky about how RUclipsrs do their videos but that’s one thing that always bothered me. The 30 overall TEs are actually long snappers. QBs tend to be rated very low as well.
What if you did a division imperialism with each division getting one continent and all 4 teams have to battle for the continent. After all continents have one winner they would play until 1 winner. The 8th division not chosen could all become free agents.
A really cool idea would literally be historical Imperialism. The whole continent of Africa, should calculate to 50 areas, not including islands besides Madagascar (Including Western Sahara as well). Since it's only Africa, countries like Lesotho and Rwanda shouldn't be too small depending on the image Dean uses.
Though it might be best to combine Lesotho with South Africa and The Gambia with Senegal since they are both completely surrounded by those countries. Also would make it 48 areas, just like classic Imperialism.

My Giants can't catch a break in these videos. We started off in a very winnable position, but the wheel just never called on us. Then before we knew it, we were surrounded by juggernauts. Don't get me wrong, it's hilarious that we made it into the top 8 but just not doing anything, but I'd have prefered not lose literally the first game we played in.
