I hoped there was going to be a level were you control Travis inside the actual Hotline Miami, that would have been AWESOME. Really hope in the future they make it!
Man it really moves me how Beard talks about Jacket and tells Travis how Jacket is, so worn down, you can feel the care he still has for his old pal, that's why I love those games so much.
Honest to god. I thought Jacket was going to be the final boss of the game. My head would've fucking exploded if that happened... I'm a little sad that didn't happen, but I like their friendly chat and maybe, just maybe, Hotline Miami DLC.
Miami: Hero's Hotline Hotline Miami: No More Hero's Travis's Miami Touchdown Travis's Hotline: Wrong Number The possible names this cross-over could be called if it was a stand-alone game is great X3 hehe
I'm pretty sure Devolver don't make games, they just publish them. Please don't give all the glory to them, research how are the people actually making the games you enjoy.
Damn, I just realized this version had Silver Lights and the PS4 one uses Deep Cover instead, I don't say one is better than the other, just that Silver Lights is the appropriate tune for these scenes.
@@TurboNerd77 I'm legit surprised Devolver hasn't brought HLM 1 and 2 to the Switch yet, they've been supporting the platform for a good while now and have said their games do well on the system, so why is it one of their biggest names is still strangely absent?
@@slaterisdead1757 No, that's incorrect. The company behind Game Maker even made a big deal a while back about the fact the Switch does fully support the Game Maker engine. For one Undertale uses Game Maker, and it's on the the Switch. So does Wandersong, Hyper Light Drifter, and Downwell. All use Game Maker and all on Switch.
I agree that Suda didn't do a good enough job preserving HLM's distinct dialogue. Although he does know how to write off-kilter psychological dialogue; like in Killer 7. Maybe the Japanese translation of HLM didn't do the writing justice? Either way, it feels "off" despite how unbelievably cool it was to see.
I like Suda51 for the most part (he doesn't get the game part of his video games right, a lot of the time), but you are absolutely correct. This feels out of place, and seems to serve no purpose. Well that and the dialogue isn't very good. HLM should stay HLM and NMH should stay NMH, don't mix the two.
Richard would have totally ripped Travis' morality a new one, I think. Guy's ''literally'' a video game character - a flat 2D sprite in a 3D world, and that's all he'll ever be. And Suda's just like him, in some respects.
Funny how jacket was wearing the tony mask when travis himself also is represented as a tiger.
Nice pointing that out
The idea that in some way Jacket got a happy ending, a friend to play video games with, is beautiful

TSA in a way is Suda trying to ape Hotline Miami and failing miserably at it
Man it really moves me how Beard talks about Jacket and tells Travis how Jacket is, so worn down, you can feel the care he still has for his old pal, that's why I love those games so much.
NMH + HLM
Feels so good
So good it hurts. Ouchie

*MOST AMBITIOUS CROSSOVER EVER*
I wonder if jacket ever gets to have that beer with travis
I'm pretty sure since Jacket is wearing the Tony Mask he'll kill him in one hit
With his bare fucking hands
Miami: Hero's Hotline
Hotline Miami: No More Hero's
Travis's Miami Touchdown
Travis's Hotline: Wrong Number
The possible names this cross-over could be called if it was a stand-alone game is great X3 hehe
No More Hotlines
Hotline Santa Destroy: No More Heroes.
Hotline heroes 2: desperate number
Imagine if you were able to fight Jacket? Both fucking badasses fighting eachother.
I bet Suda would have Devolver make a spinoff of No More Heroes.
tbh, i think with all the nods in the game, Suda really really /really/ wants devolver to publish the next NMH.
@@Modzorz they're too busy making electric thunder tiger 3

Dude this game... I miss it so much
I just wanted hotline on switch
Is that too much to ask

Poison it’s cause the switch doesn’t support the game maker engine which is the engine hotline uses

Poison ah my bad
Hotline miami for the switch
Are you some sort of prophet
Well what do ya know...
Wish it was on Death Drive instead
I really want Hotline Miami 1+2 for Switch
And now we do
lol
This comment aged like fine whine.
My cutscenes glitched out and I didn't get to see richard, Don Juan, or Rasmus. I was like, "aweeee, dammit"

Suda51 casually sneaking up his hotline miami fanfiction on an official game
i'll see you in that place
Thanks, the price says that you still own your soul have a nice day.
My digital copy of TSA has the actual hotline miami music?
Guess it depends on the patch
Yes
huh so no more heros crossover with HLM that's oddly cool and fitting
What is the name if the music un the background i really love this music and i Wanna know the name 😊
I think it's Silver Lights from the first Hotline Miami game. I could be wrong, but it sounds VERY similar.
@@let2110 Grasshopper couldn't get the rights to Silver Lights so they had to compose something similar
So Jackert is canonically Tony?
Seeing the HLM characters read off suda's shit awful writing makes me further appreciate Dennaton's pitch perfect script for HLM 1+2.
