Alkaline Trio songs just hit my right the heart. I'm so addicted to this band and I've been through a LOT of music but ever since I discovered them like 1 1/2 years ago (actually through Blink) I hardly listen to anything else anymore. Their lyrics, wether it's Matt's or Dan's doesn't matter, they just reach a spot inside of me that I didn't know even existed.
I kept thinking that'd I'd like outgrow them or something.... I'm 29 and still they hit me like I'm just hearing them for the first time as a teenager. So dark and brooding but like somehow wholesome too
His voice on Good Mourning was a testament to all those hard nights in the Chicago scene. It’s beautiful in a way. A remnant of something specific and ultimately gone. I adore it

Me too. Pure poetry. No other band hits the same way as the Trio does

@@christiansather8438 my thought exactly they were my favorite band as a teenager now at 32 I'm rediscovering them and they're as good as ever.
