@@darienchan1753 If you are talking about coop, depending on your account, you may need to focus on HP and hopefully find people who can carry you on the harder difficulties. Just a quick thing, you can use heal LB and atk LB together. Just like you explained swap to defense click on heal, then swap to attack and use your attack LB. You will get the respective bonuses for each one. You also dont have to wait for the animation to finish before switching modes. You can activate your attack/heal and then immediately switch back
Going off of this, by not doing all 3 LB together at once, you actually lose out on a lot of damage. When you activate 2 LB, you get 1.10x damage, but when you activate 3 LB together, you get 1.25x damage.

Incredible video. I thought I knew everything about the combat but had no clue about the meters around the offense/defense mode and that it changes the percentages. Crazy
Hey, something you missed about unison buffs, every time you let the guage fall in defense mode, then let it fill to max in attack mode, your stance levels up, making the meter recharge faster and it may also increase dps/defense, you'll also get big medals in co-op for doing this, so just always switch between attack and defense, let the guage fall just a tiny bit, then switch back to attack, you'll find there is a rhythm you can get into doing this where youll always be in defense mode when the boss auto attacks.
I’m defo super reliant on auto 😭 but always make sure to step in for healing as it seems that auto is not so great for that. But I haven’t even attempted any higher level stages yet so I’ll defo rewatch this video to help me out! Thanks for another fantastic guide!
Here's my TIP: Priority: 1. Chapters 2. Chocobo Missions(Unlock E+ Chocobos) 3. Co-Op (Medals/Exp/Materials) 4. Save Gems if you already have at least 2 of your 3 Main have their 5 stars. (For future OP weapons) 5. Watch Ads 6. Crisis Dungeons (OP Stats Materia exchange) 6. Synthesis - (Get at least 2 pairs of materias for 2 of your characters for Boss fights) Focus on those and in 2 weeks you'll already finished with the Chapters and most likely have enougj Stamina Bottles to go level up using Training. Before 27 days, you most likely already at 100k+ Power for all the events.
Ive been using Auto even in really hard stages and having no issues. I beat this stage at 72k. Its all about your setup and prep before the fight even starts and Auto is always gonna be faster at switching unison and doing spells than I can. The real tip here is to stop using Auto Equip and the Recommend Party button.
I did notice too that Auto Equip/Recommended does not set up perfectly for every fight... IMO the strategy during battle still matters depending on the power recommendation and what items/equipment people have, but strategizing beforehand is also very important.
Its faster with switching for Unison/Stances BUT there's a lot of things Auto doesn't do that can be detrimental for hard stages. Like for example, Auto doesn't know when to save ATB. Big attack coming up? Or a sigil break phase coming up? Auto will always use up your ATB. Another thing is the Auto has a certain delay when casting ATB abilities. Reason for that is Auto Mode avoids animation cancelling. It tries to let a character finish their normal attack BEFORE casting. Sure that leads to more DPS but sometimes you want that heal ASAL or that Debrave etc.
Seems like a fair tip for me, because looking into this video now, it seems I'll have to work on getting accustom with semi-auto more often to make the best of it.
I should do this for the event … I got to Watermelon Tonberry 7 and died with one hit left… 😅 Breaking down the combat system is very helpful. I am just too scared to go off auto 😂 Guess I need to face my fear
I think the real problem is the x2 speed, if you're really trying to clear something close to your bp, the x2 will make it way harder, cause you won't be able to react to most of the stuff, I guess when you're way above the thing, and you just wanna quick farm, then x2 speed is fine but for a first clear of a " hard " battle, removing x2 is also gonna help a ton
I didn't even notice the gauge on the command modes, was confused and thought maybe it meant hoarding ATB lol. Thanks! Also nice tip on mode switching for limit breaks, I didn't know that works.
Ok, this is crazy. I used to watch your videos 7 years ago because of KHUX (the first gacha I ever played). Now, 7 years later, I'm watching your videos for FF7EC.
One thing if you play on PC, put a keyboard button on the switch. I have WASD as movement, F as switch and 1-5 on the buttons. Its so much easier to just press F 1 F to heal and get back to attack mode, than clicking on the buttons. But even just having a key on the switch is gonna help you so much. I click limit breaks for example.
I would add, that maintaining AOE heals from your healer is important and if you know your going to need a an AOE heal from Aerith use her limit break in tandem with everyone else. The damage multiplier is 1.25x when everyone uses their limit, whereas if you only use your 2 DPS limit break its only a 1.1x damage boost.
Finally a gacha game that lets you do so much more by NOT playing on auto. Glad you talked about that in this guide part so people can both appreciate this game to its fullest and clear content above the recommended power level. I hope the game continues that trend with future content
I know you meant you don't know other ways to get debrave materia, but for others reading out there, Aerith has a weapon that is AOE debrave. It is called Heavenly Spike, on her Full Metal Staff. Now, mind you, that makes her a full on support as it is physical damage and with her heal staff it won't do much dmg, but there may be other weapons that do this too. For me, AOE debrave is amazing for survival. I let Cloud do Cloud things for DPS.
It was more for the materia itself not the actual debuff. I would like to make more so other party members can use it without a weapon. And yea Aerith along with a couple of others have great debuff weapons
So what's the strategy to stay alive for the green tonberry that's at 64k for Zack's final weapon drop? Once it gets to that final phase it's nothing but one shots and there's no out healing the damage.
Yea exactly, the other 2 would do what they normally would but you take control 1 character. Only thing is in semi the character you control will randomly select a ally to buff or single heal. If you want to select a specific ally then play in manual.
Good content mate a lot of people think that this game is an auto Simulator and some even Lose battles weile having 10k more Power then the stage Has :D
Thanks for this info. I was wondering why my Areith's healing is so low. About the semi auto mode for dps. How does the game/AI know what skills to use for the DPS while there are multiple skills and materia skills equipped? Thanks!
I noticed the more weapons you build the more ridiculous the build is when using recommended build. Instead of using level 50 Fairy Tale the game insist on having Aerith use a level 30 bladed staff
wish you showed us the other version for genome pods XD that one seems much harder, since it seems to oneshot me even if i use the recommended def buffs...
Is there a way to skip fights in this game want to do some grinding but I really don't want to do the fights again and again and again will get tedious fast
Isn't the explanation for the modes wrong here? in manual your controlled char will not use any active skills but your other 2 chars will still be full auto. And in semi the only thing added is that your controlled character will use an active sill if your atb hits max. Auto is well full auto including switching stances. Example 10:55 where he says that the other two chars do nothing on manual. So semi mode seems kind of useless except when you lose Attention during battle, but then you could just go full auto. Dont get me wrong still love the video, this just confused me.
You’re right he was wrong about manual , only diff between manual and semi is semi uses abilities on MAIN character , still no stance switch , but AI always for other 2 work based on stances, he didn’t stay in manual long enough in example
When I’m in manual mode, the characters I’m not controlling still use their skills. He says they won’t. Anyone know why I this happens to me? Also, EX Tonberry still 1 shots even when I have defenses buffs up and attack down on the EX Tonberry. Maybe it was because my defense gage wasn’t fully maxed.
@@haroldthompson3007 yea as the top comment of mine said she is really good debuffer + healer! Also her AOE healing isnt as strong but the ATB cost is lower so you can spam it more than Aerith just wont have the higher healing.
