Converters have to charge a lot because they must buy the car in the US (or wherever), ship it, pay GST, luxury car tax, convert it, compliance it and then make a profit as well.
+Jimbos21st Yeah but the profit is too large, can just get an import company to import a mustang for you much cheaper.. and luxury car tax shouldn't be included, few people said that you don't have to pay luxury car taxes unless the car is 60k+ base price (stock)..
Mustang Motorsport - how about a plug and play daytime headlight conversion kit and rear tail light conversion kit to return our RHD Aussie Mustangs back to USA operating format. For those with ADR compliance issues, no probs, you can stick with what Ford Aust gives you - the inability to negotiate - lots of new foreign cars (Audi, Mercs, Range Rover) with daytime running lights now, Ford you let us down,
Yeah, It's not sad $125,000 for a converted one when the new one is $56,000 as i have just ordered through Ford Dealership here in Brisbane. You converters are just thieves
+sandy guy Damn right, in America they range around $20 - 25k, so if the dollar was good you could get it converted to Australian standards, 35-40k for a conversion is bullshit, just do your own home made conversion tbh lol.. It's okay, new mustang coming in Australia will force prices down from the 2000-2014 models, and they will be reduced and according to some companies I have messaged, the RHD price will be going down a LOT, that is probably why they don't want to continue doing it.
+sandy guy They aren't thieves. The only thieves are the government who make importing and compliancing vehicles so expensive. The conversion companies have to make a profit, otherwise they could not exist. And if they did not exist there would be no American vehicles in Australia at all, other than the measly selection the manufacturers make in RHD
Hi, getting RHD EcoBoost here in UK, next August. Cant wait to get it.
Very nice
Why is it the last to be converted? aren't you going to convert 2007 - 2014 still?
Great Thanks Craig love my 2015 yellow pony.

4 cyl Turbo $46,000 GT $56,000 Convertible $ 65,000 through any Ford Dealer in Australia
So for about $200,000 you might get what you paid for, like a last built shelby second hand as well. :(
