@Bobbi Moccia I can certainly build you one, but I can only assume that shipping would be brutal. Swing by my website and shoot me an email so we can talk further.
@Bobbi Moccia I am located in South Dakota near Mt Rushmore. I'm not sure how YT handles links but mine is in the description above. Note: I am not a web designer 😉
Absolutely amazing. Definitely beats what I have currently. Looking to see if you have plans for what you built in the video, or looking to see where you’re based out of to have this done in my FJ
Hi Mason. I don't get any alerts about replies, so sorry about the delay. Please check my website to contact me. Sorry, I haven't converted my chicken scratches to plans for others to be able to read...
I know its been years, but how many feet and inches sleeping space from back to the passenger seat? Also, how much would you charge to do this if i drove out to you. I plan on hitting the road soon and traveling the country!
The platform with the wings up was 6'0" I believe. Sorry but you would probably need the pillow to run up onto the folded seatback. I would bet it to be just too short for comfort.
@@orvsr4me2 I can watch your video a few times and pretty much see the process, a lot of cuts and nice fitting parts. Just wondered if you actually had shop plans available. Good to see your work!
Really beautiful and illuminating work ! I'm beginning my own FJ build-out now very inspired. - I'm curious: why the double wall between the two drawer compartments (as opposed to just a single wall) ? And, is the bottom a thinner material? I mean, is it 1/2" where all else in the platform/drawer insert (not including dividers) is 3/4"??
Sorry for the delayed response. I don't check here very often anymore. The double wall was an evolutionary design, initially so I could install the two sides independently. I did away with this in the next version as it isn't necessary. I used 1/4 for the bottom of this one, 1/2 on the next version but will both had advantages depending on the pull out tables. 3/4 (18mm) used throughout the structure elsewhere.
Hello! I am just the videographer for the project, but please feel free to reach out to Integrity Homeworks (integrityhomeworks@gmail.com) about getting your own build!
Awesome build, though can't help but notice the $thousands in labor expended - seems many $thousands. For the average person, it would not be justified, throwing ten grand toward a drawer/platform bed system.
@@orvsr4me2 Then your customer got a great deal. Your attention to detail & skill w/ your tools is obvious. One of my 1st jobs was in a custom cabinet-making shop, so I know a bit about the trade.

Hands down, the best set up for an FJ. Great work 👏
Thank you for watching!
Thank you Ash! It came out quite nicely and the I believe the customer is quite happy with it.

Thank you Kevin!
the man knows things!
Nice. Thanks for the inspiration.
Awesome! Very well done. Thanks for sharing. Something to be very proud of, I hope that’s your own and get to enjoy your work,
Awesome build! Commenting for the algorithm.
Your hired!!.take my money!
How much did this build end up weighing and how much weight was saved by taking seats out?
Great video!
Thank you so much for watching!
What would it cost to build one for my 2012 FJ? I can pick it up. 😁 that is fantastic.
Can you come to Belgium? I have a van you can convert ;)

Where did you get the brackets that hold it in place? Is that oem?
Awesome job now do you want to come and help me with mine, lol.
Great Caesar's Ghost!
Would you be willing to share the build measurements? I’m looking to do someone almost exactly like this to my rig
Really nice work! Well done!
Thank you PB2!
This was awesome, thanks for the ideas!
You are welcome, thank you so much for watching!

One of the best fj build 👏👏

Sleeping space is right at 72". Please send me an email if you would like to discuss a build. Link in the description.
Un trabajo muy bueno y practico. Felicidades.
What's the length of the bed platform? I'm 6'4" and was curious if I'd be able to fit very well sleeping in an fj

@@orvsr4me2 thanks for the info :)
Sorry Mr. Jesse, looks like you won't be able to have a sleepover anytime soon. ☹️
Nice to have a shop plus shop grade or better plywood. Weight before and after in vehicle would be interesting. 🤔
any of those plans available?
Hi Larry. The plans have been evolving and they change for each customer. There is also a bit of fitting but I am getting there!

Excellent build. It looks like you did it bespoke. Did you do it from scratch or did you produce plans?
I drew up my own plans and do all the production myself. Thank you!
can you make and ship to me how much it cost
Hello! I am just the videographer for the project, but please feel free to reach out to Integrity Homeworks (integrityhomeworks@gmail.com) about getting your own build!
Poor FJ it will need 2000LB springs to hold up all that wood. 3/4" plywood for the drawers too? Needed a forklift to put it in the car.lolol
Awesome build, though can't help but notice the $thousands in labor expended - seems many $thousands. For the average person, it would not be justified, throwing ten grand toward a drawer/platform bed system.
That is a very valid point volvo but this build actually came in at a fraction of that amount for my customer. And thank you for the compliment!

Too bad there is no narration to explain what you're doing, pitfalls to avoid, tips & tricks.
helps if you watch a few times and hit the pause button. Make more sense when you know the inside of the Fj really well
Next time I should narrate or do CC. Great idea Scott. I agree. The next video needs editing and I will try to do so.
Ящик хорош, только всё это лишний вес, дополнительный расход топлива
Thank you. After removing the factory rear seats the weight addition was not substantial. I would guess not more than 100lbs (45kg).
Yoo
can you make one for me u will pay thx
Man…
this is the most awful build I've seen
Pls loose that annoying ass music
