I aspire to be like you Valentina. You are an amazing wife, mother, and business woman. I appreciate you taking the time to show us tips and tricks on how to nurture our home. Thank you!
Yes to design fueling your soul! I love changing things up so I’m so grateful for this series. I would welcome seasonal tips for simple dining table decor pieces that don’t feel like overdone. Thank you for sharing your time & talents. ps. ‘Up here” cracks me up - I live in NY and am so (!) over winter.
Many times I'll take a picture at the different stages of redesign time. Always fun to see if it looks like I think it is 'looking'. Enjoy all the fun designing tips to incorporate my likes and yours!! Thank you..
I’ve been binging on your videos for the last couple of weeks Valentina, and this video is my absolute favorite so far! So creative, calm and lovely! You’ve inspired me with your expertise and thoughtful approach to fabulous design. 💕
You should make a video like this every year. I know how to decorate for Christmas and spring, but I don't know what to do in between. This was very helpful. Thanks!
Congratulations on 250K!!! There's a very good reason you're getting so popular...you're fantastic! I look forward to your videos every week. My husband even watches with me a lot too. Can't wait to refresh my kitchen this weekend!
Absolutely loved this. I have watched it multiple times as it resonates with me. I prefer a pared down, minimal space as well. Although I cook a lot, I try to keep everything put away & I just get things out as I need them…except the KitchenAid--it is too heavy to move around, and the coffee maker…because this girl needs her coffee! If I keep too many things out, I get anxious & feel almost claustrophobic. This video was so relaxing. I subscribed over a year ago & I feel your videos are just getting better and better! And I love this new series of monthly refreshes. Thank you for being so gracious and sharing your home with us.
Very interesting to do soul searching and stopping the video to admit it. Yes. I think it a good idea to keep things in drawers cabinets and only put out what you use a lot and even there not necessary. Just get it out of a drawer that is hopefully closer to where you need it. Shelves are hard for you bc we are (me too) not tall. I think you did the right thing but we may see changes from others 😉. Enjoy the new season!
I loved the explaining and the look into “how” you style. I can’t wait to see more of these types of videos. I would love to see a time lapse of you when you “create” next time.
I love it Valentina, I love how spontaneous you are and how simple and refreshing is this step-by-step video. Your videos in general have been the most motivational learning space for me, helping me to set new habits to take care of our home in a very fun way. Finally, after working for a long time on decluttering, I fell I'm taking my house to the next level thanks to your generous sharing for the love of home.
I love the idea of refreshing and curating a space for the new season. It looks so uncluttered, yet artistic. Where do you store your unused items that are put away?
I love your channel and this new series! After I saw it in one of your videos I bought a soap dispenser set at Ikea and changed the ones from the store in the kitchen. This little idea makes such a difference! I bought the same set for my parents for Christmas. It's a great idea to have a look from a bit further away of the space you want to change. I also take a photo of them. On a photo you can see things you might not see with your eyes.
As your channel is quickly growing, my biggest fear has been that you will lose your “you” I’m so glad to see you are able to check yourself. You have been my saving grace through my build design ❤️
@Valentina and Jack you are simply the best ❤👍 whenever 2022 presents me a "low" I gonna get my positive up from you...you always deliver! Awesome once again
Your space is gorgeous and you have great taste. I personally would have kept at the Nespresso machine out instead of the mixer based on daily usage factor.
Once again, your innate passion for design and creating a warm and inviting home continues to inspire me. I love the notion of "changing" the entire vibe of a room simply by starting with a clean slate. I know that I am guilty of setting up a room and then never changing it up. Thank you for liberating me from this practice. I cannot wait to try this method in my own home!
I absolutely love this video. Seeing you work through the process in your own space is so instructs and inspiring. I never thought of looking at a space in this way. Please continue this series!!
The kitchen is the most important space in our house, I love cooking and baking. I love minimalist and all the appliances are hidden away. I have wall shelves, I can display a few of my favourite items without having them taking space of my worktops. I like the simplicity of your kitchen but personally I would had some wall shelving in there.
This looks lovely. Yes, I’m torn between trying to enjoy each season and letting winter have it’s moment but at the same time, I’m ready for spring and summer lol. I enjoyed this kitchen refresh thanks Valentina!
Creating for me is experimenting, playing with items, how am I feeling about it. Can’t achieve that while video cameras are on! Thank you for being truthful. I identify with people who are down to earth and honest. Thank you for being real. Love it.
We’re remodeling right now, and my goal is to declutter! I really liked what you said about putting things away and then getting it out WHEN you want to use it, instead of having everything out all the time. Simple, yet profound! Thank you! Love your videos:)
I love how you decorate and refresh the space once in a while. Where do you store the things you don't use for a while though? And what do you do with all the new products, which you purchase? I'm still on a decluttering journey in order to have a more peaceful house. I love decorating though and the temptation to buy new things is always huge. That's why I'm curious how you manage so many new products entering your house. You did a minimizing video a while ago. Do you still do some decluttering once in a while? Greetings from Florida.
I am also on a decluttering journey. Books are something that can take on a life of their own. I got rid of all but a few well-worn and favorite cookbooks, but I keep all of my favorite recipes on files I access on my phone. I have favorite vases I use to switch out decor, no need to bring in new ones, etc...I have a decent pantry, but no room to store seasonal items. I think she said they have a basement.
So I try to listen to Valentina, but I’m always distracted by how flipping CHIC SHE ALWAYS LOOKS!!! you always look stunning V! I wish you’d show me how to get put together and look Parisian chic
Love cleaning out spaces after a season and seeing older items in new ways. We are in the middle of a snowstorm right now and I'm still liking the winter greenery in my house, but I will start editing things out of the spaces as the month of February starts. Love the video.
So I went to Sherman Williams and picked up some paint swatches for a new house that I'm going to buy. Haven't bought it yet. Haven't found it yet but I "decorate" them first and then pick out the house. Anyway I fell asleep while listening to you and I was dreaming that I was showing you my paint swatches, and that you loved them. Lol 😂
Guuurrrlllllll, now you speaking my jam. I don’t care if I have furniture. But I have to have plants. And I absolutely love those planters. I have one like that, and looking for more
Hei Valentina, Your channel makes me very happy and feeling fortunate to live in Holland 🇳🇱 and parttime in Norway 🇳🇴 All the objects and way of living, that you describe that make you happy are so recognisable and at hand that it made me sort of blind to the beauty of it all. Thank you for lending me your eyes and heart to see my house and family in a more intensified way. When finishing this reply I’ll be running to the farmers market for some fresh tulips an a tasty sourdough bread 🥖 to serve with my favourite spinach salade to celebrate “familien og hjemme min”.
I’m a 31 year old bachelor. School teacher. I use your ideas at home… but also in my classroom. Yes I said it- my classroom. Kids, teachers, parents, and principals come in they immediately ask me how I “got my room to look this way”… and honestly it’s from design principles like what you give us, Valentina.
Great video! Loved the very end where you show the result in like slow motion lol...allows you too take in the details of what you have created & appreciate it!
LOL! Totally relate to your comment about hating to clean! I love a clean space, but hate to clean! But that feeling after a deep clean.... ahhhhhh!!!!!
You are so fun to watch. I'm a mixed media artist and could relate when you closed off the camera. We cant listen to our intuition and create at the same time. You do it beautifully most of the time.
I love this!! I thought I was the only one that doesn’t decorate for Valentine’s Day! But I love the reset and transition from winter to pre-spring. I also love how you incorporate “rustic” (planter and sphere) items without being “farmhouse”. Thanks!!
You are so cute 🥰 I love black and white in my home, you are the only one that has that love. Manny years ago I had a huge white Christmas tree with only huge black balls and tiny ones. My friends told me I was crazy. After watching you I’m going to paint some of my walls black 💁♀️Also I was raised in Germany and tiny like you we could wear each other’s wardrobe, same taste. Just moved to Palm Springs from Seattle.
I LOVE IT!! I love your kitchen and your whole house! I also love How detailed you are and how you pay attention to detail! You inspire me to do better with my house and give me such good ideas and what to be aware of By the way, I just purchased really nice( so much higher quality of fabric) matte black sheets!! My husband and I love the look and it makes a big difference to get higher quality fabric!
I love how your house and your clothes are black and white. I love the aesthetic! I agree- no pink and red or hearts. The clean green and thyme and welcoming spring is perfect for the soul. Spot on- love it!!!
Ahhhh, I love this video! I feel like we just had "Girl Time"! Not only did I learn things, but I enjoyed watching your creative flow in motion. Made me feel like I was just there hanging out with you. Very relaxing to watch.
Congrats on 250k!!!! Question…. Where do you keep your kitchen essentials, i.e. cooking utensils, dish drainer, napkins, store list , mail …. and the list goes on and on. I am in smaller townhouse and have limited storage. Help! Love your style and life knowledge. I’m 63 and learning so much from you. Thank you for your hard work ❤️
I thought that was great. It was real and it let me know sometimes you feel unsure just like we do. That we just have to keep trying until we get it right.
This is quite lovely! I especially loved when he talked about viewing it for just the next few weeks, rather than forever. That was a really helpful tip. Thank you!
Definitely cannot talk and "do" so I very much appreciated your camera moment. It was encouraging. I cant talk during a massage either. We (the masseuse and I) found that my shoulders tighten up😂
Watching as you processed your thoughts and feelings into the space made me feel better about how I do the same. It was real. I think winter doesn’t feel so bad now!
I love your videos! You two are so fun to watch. I would love a video on how to decorate stair cases. In particular large spiral ones that go from an upper main level to a lower one. I would also love a video on what to do if you already have dark wood shutters, floors, molding and medium dark paint (Tuscan style….aargh!) but want to lighten things up. Can you still lighten up the walls with some sort of white paint that is warm to go with warm wood? My wood has some yellow hue in it. I can’t afford to remove all of the dark plantation shutters, flooring, cabinets, & baseboards. What options do I have? If you have all of these dark wood items can you just lighten the kitchen cabinets that are warm wood stained to a warm white painted cabinet & lighten the color on the walls w/o changing all the baseboards, shutters, etc?
I really loved this, I honestly didn't think I would. It's so inspiring, and I loved your heart-to-heart about the artistic aspect of what you were doing, and the concept of having time to think about it. Wonderful as always, so happy I watched. Thank you, Valentina!
Happy Friday! 🖤 I’m about to go pick up some black paint for my bathroom 😊 was just having some coffee first and saw the new content. Love your videos! Congrats on 250,000!! 🖤🤍
🇨🇦 here. Working in health care facility, long hours, my mom recently passed. Just want I needed. Thank you ❤️
You can’t be creative and talk at the same time . It uses different parts of your brain. I’m glad you were true to the process! Love ya ❤️
I aspire to be like you Valentina. You are an amazing wife, mother, and business woman. I appreciate you taking the time to show us tips and tricks on how to nurture our home. Thank you!
Glad you stopped the camera...was not feeling right... you realized that, and pulled it together... beautifully.... love ❤
I love the "less" look. I can't tolerate a crowded kitchen. Inspiring!
Yes to design fueling your soul! I love changing things up so I’m so grateful for this series. I would welcome seasonal tips for simple dining table decor pieces that don’t feel like overdone. Refreshed, bright, lovely smells.💖💖💖
One of my favorite Fridays with V

That’s so sweet! Have fun this weekend!
I love how you stopped and reset yourself. I need to remember to do that if I'm not feeling great about how things are progressing.
Absolutely loved this. I have watched it multiple times as it resonates with me. I prefer a pared down, minimal space as well. Girl yes! Coffee is the elixir of LIFE.😂 My coffee pot stays out unashamedly!

Hola Valentina que preciosa cocina 👏👏👍🤗😘
I love how clean and uncluttered your kitchen looks. I’m inspired.
I love how it turned out. It fits your personality style
I love the idea of refreshing and curating a space for the new season. It looks so uncluttered, yet artistic. Where do you store your unused items that are put away?

You're amazing. Thank you for showing up so authenticly. ♥️
I have the same creative mind. I need silence and no one around to be in tune with what I am styling. Absolutely understand your "camera off" moment 🥰
I LOVE that you offer all the links to all the items - especially your attire because it is March and now these items are on sale!! :)
Your space is gorgeous and you have great taste. I personally would have kept at the Nespresso machine out instead of the mixer based on daily usage factor.

And don't forget a soft mat to stand on. Those springy, foot saving, back soothing mats that kitchen folks really, really appreciate. And need.
Yes please due more of this decorating. I love your thought process on way you decided to decorate with these items. Love you videos.
I’m inspired by your personal exploration and articulation of what you like.

it is still curated and carefully edited but looks really beautifully inviting and refreshed. well done.

As you were standing there, talking about the coffee maker, I spotted the stickers on the avocados too ! So funny!! 🤣🤣
That mixer is a piece of art!
I enjoyed this video format. It is great to hear you explain what you are doing at the same time.
It was sweet seeing you process styling and taking a break from filming to show us what you came up with and what inspired you! Very fun and fresh! 😍
So I try to listen to Valentina, but I’m always distracted by how flipping CHIC SHE ALWAYS LOOKS!!! you always look stunning V! I wish you’d show me how to get put together and look Parisian chic
This is the video I enjoyed the most from you! Keep it going like this

I feel you on the need to clear out your space. After Christmas I just want everything out and I take a little time to enjoy having my house back.
Guuurrrlllllll, now you speaking my jam. I don’t care if I have furniture. But I have to have plants. And I absolutely love those planters. I have one like that, and looking for more
Good for you for staying true to your creativity. I also enjoy ceramic pieces too.
Thanks for keeping it so real with your camera off moment. this series is great and I am also taking a fresh look at my space. amazing!!
I love seeing where that black and white painting is going to turn up. I feel like it’s been in every room, and doesn’t it just work everywhere!
Enjoyed watching you recreate your kitchen.

Always look forward to your uploads! Feels like a friendship. I see certain items and think, Valentina would love this. 😄💕
Touching the edge.
I love this, you being you :) Love the look
Thank for this amazing video. I feel so inspired. ❤🇦🇺
Definitely cannot talk and "do" so I very much appreciated your camera moment. It was encouraging. I cant talk during a massage either. We (the masseuse and I) found that my shoulders tighten up😂
I like that you repurposed things and it wasn't all about new things. Inspired for Feb. refresh!
Hundred percent agree with you about handmade ceramics ⭐️
Love the new look!!!
Watching as you processed your thoughts and feelings into the space made me feel better about how I do the same. It was real. I think winter doesn’t feel so bad now!
I try to do the same minimizing things and feel so good and happy don’t want clutter! 👍🏻😍
