Never thought of changing my curtains for the season. This was the first monthly decorating video I've watched. It was very helpful! March in North Dakota involves continued shoveling of snow.

I switch over my home in March, as well. The heavy blankets and comforters are sent to the dry cleaners and the lighter blankets and quilts come out of storage. I change out my candles for a fresher, more floral scent and replace faux greenery with faux florals. I also change my throw pillow covers going from darker colors in heavy fabrics to lighter colors in cotton, linen, and silk. I love this time of year.

I try to add a bit more green in my decor and jewelry during March - in honor of my Irish heritage.

The curtains in the bathroom are fantastic. I love linen curtains and have them in my own home in pretty much the same colour. The lime wash will look amazing. You’ll love it so much.

Here on the "underside", we've felt the beginnings of the Autumn chill this week, which prompted thoughts of coziness... I'm leaning toward beige and biscuity hues, with charcoal and black. Hand-woven cushions (including two vintage Moroccan treasures), a luxurious faux fur rug (which is soft enough to be a throw), and more candles than I need.

I just love your aesthetic. I wish I had the time and financial resources to make my own home so nice. A bit “far fetched” for me. It would be so helpful if you suggested more affordable dupes for the things you show. Also time management to do all this! How the heck do you get it all done?
Agree that many of these items are pricey, but the idea of the seasonal change-ups is great, even down to the scents and soaps; could easily be done with less expensive items from HomeGoods.
Try Joanne’s for nice seasonal decor at affordable prices when on sale and they have coupons too.
Loving this series! I am home challenged so it is great to have this fun way to tackle a bit at a time.

Just an NYC recommendation - Maybe reach out to someone that works at West Elm HQ in DUMBO Brooklyn and maybe they can tour you around the HQ! If not check out Industry City in Brooklyn (a bit out of the way) but theres tons of home outlets (West Elm, RH, Design within Reach) and cool local shops and restaurants all in one huge campus.

Just stop it V, your teasing me with your coming into the warmer months over there when I’m coming into our cooler months here Lol 😂, we’re the complete opposite when it comes to seasons, I’ll be going out shopping for some new warmer throw rugs very soon as March here is starting to get cool 🥶, I’ll have to check back to your winter styling videos to find what I’m looking for, both inside and outside, even though it gets chilly 🥶 here we still spend a fair amount of time outside, it’s all under covered with screens around it to keep the cold and windy days out, I love the idea of having a little hanging rack for your outfits being separated from your wardrobe, I might have to look for something like that for my bedroom, I’ve still got my Magnolia branches sitting in a vase from a few weeks ago, I just change out the water regularly and they look great, I don’t know what hubby thought I was doing Lol 😂 at the time but he even thinks they look good where I have them sitting on our window seat in our tv room, I’m going to get some curtains to hang over my panel slider that leads into our home from the back area to make it look more cozy throughout winter but will keep them up all year round, it just needs something more on this glass sliding door and I’ll remember to hang them high to the ceiling, we have high ceilings which is good for that. It’s 6.30am Thursday morning here with a Storm ⛈ brewing and it’s already chilly with me in my winter dressing gown Lol 😂 and my coffee watching your video. Have a Great day. Speaking of nice soaps, have you seen the new Method hand soaps in the aluminum bottles? The black bottle is vetiver and amber with a base note of cedar wood. Smells expensive and looks gorgeous. In my doaughters house ist no mudroom- Everyone, who comes, comes through the main entrance.
In the main entrance All jackets are hanging and all boots are in the main entrance. Is there a solution to this problem than tidying and cleaning for forty hours a day?
Would a large armoire or freestanding cabinet near the entry work? I had hooks for coats when I was growing up, it doesn’t look as tidy as a garment rack but systems only work if people in the household actually use them and it’s easier to get children to put their coats on hooks than a hanger.
