I'm super excited for this and it really makes me happy to see the devs make a trailer for the game based on what they REALLY want you to see instead of the marketing side of trailers where it's all flashy and cheezy.
Watch this trailer with headphones, apart from the game looking amazing the sound design and sounds used in the audio for this game are top notch the guns got a nice chunky punch to the shots hate when guns sound like pea shooters in games. Also the death animations 😍 meanwhile Capcom over here fading to black when ur character dies, glen schofield sure does know what players really want.
Schofield had an interview a couple years back about the development of Deadspace where he stressed the importance of sound. He puts an extreme amount of care into the sound design.
I agree. So exciting see this game in December & a new Dead Space Remake in January. Survival Horror/Horror could be getting a resurgence & I'm loving it!
As a huge fan of Dead Space (in fact, I am going through them again now alongside other games), I am interested in this. Honestly, as a side note, since Dead Space is Dead Space, I am a bit more excited for the Dead Space remake, but that's beside the point. I wanted to say, COD: WWII is the first time I couldn't make it through a COD campaign, and aside from the MW reboot (which I didn't much care for), I am kind of done with COD, however, since many of the DS (and Callisto Protocol) team worked on WWII, I want to give it another chance and go through it.
Man the discrepancy between quality and going through the motions/ulterior motives in any medium is so obvious nowawdays. Music, Movies, Video Games doesnt matter. Thank you for prioritizing quality, day 1 purchase!
Just like when I played the dead space games, after the first run I'm gonna do a death run where I let myself get killed by everything to see all the different, sadistic and gnarly ways to die.
One thing that I noticed and loved about this trailer was that in 1:41 the devs hinted at the possible ability that the player could use the characters environmental hazards in their given environment To. Their. Advantage. And I just love it, it’s been so long since I’ve seen a game where the hazards of the characters environment is not only hazardous to the players character, but also to the NPCs and enemies
Super excited, been a long time fan of dead space 1 and 2 in particular. Played through them many times over .. can not wait for this and re 4 remake!! Game on fellas

This game looks like it's gonna have the best death screens and also the best gore in any game period. Funny how it is almost as gory as Mortal Kombat but this one feels a lot scarier and traumatizing
I... ugh, what a comment. You don't know that at all. You've seen one death scene. Also, the reason why Mortal Kombat scenes are different is because they never do anything realistic with the bodies, it's always extreme and hilarious, but not actually meant to be disgusting or scary. You're comparing apples with oranges here
@@Neo2266. Did you seriously just say that Mortal Kombat fatalities are not meant to be disgusting? I've seen 2 death animations, actually 3 death animations. 1 when half his head got bitten off, him getting grinded up and his head getting kicked to death (we only saw half of this tho, not the whole thing). Saying both game's gore is incomparable is bizarre to me. I'm not here to say which is better, I'm just saying that this is almost as gory as the other game but resulting in different reactions from the player.
I'm glad to see the creator of dead space got their beautiful ideas in this game. Everything about it looks amazing. Since looking at the author past creations I know for a fact this game will come out just a beautiful as the trailer.
