3000 items is very lofty. Would take a lot of work everyday to maintain, not to mention the time it takes to source, list and ship daily. I’m full time and run about half that. 1500-1600 on eBay, around 500+ on Etsy and do 6 figures. You can do it, just gotta work everyday to get it to where it runs smoothly

So the 6 figures, is that sales or profit? Just curious. Also, I definitely appreciate the input. I used the data that I had from the previous year to come up with the number of 3,000. I took the money I made with 500-600 items in my ebay store and just did some math of what I need based on my current salary working in IT. That number is going to look different for everyone of course. It will be less if I can sell my car, which I plan on doing soon.

That is amazing! I really really want to try eBay. I have but it's been a bust. Stopped for a while. But I seriously need to get rid of while making a little outta it.
