I love the new Angel Elixer! Its a beautiful creamy white floral with vanilla, not ground breaking but beautiful for spring and summer! A nice easy summer scent!
Yesterday I blind bought a 75 ml bottle from the YSL Spanish website. Instead of saving for Blanche Bête which I love... oh well. If it has tons of black pepper I will regret it and also resinous scents doesn't appeal to me 😅 I tried Santal Carmin on Copenhagen airport and I really like the smell, now I really regret not buying it but for sure I will find it somehow; a lot of people says it doesn't last at all but I don't care😂
I think you’re going to really enjoy it. It has a lot of vanilla! The black pepper is not that predominant. Keep me posted. I would love to know your thoughts on how you like it. 🥰

When I found out Blanche Bete had Tuberose I was shocked! I normally don’t care for tuberose but I absolutely LOVE, love, loooove Blanche Bete! Did I tell you I love Blanche Bete? 😂 Seriously though, it was love at first sniff & I always get compliments. I used half a bottle within three months (with my collection, that’s crazy!) Love it so much, I got a backup bottle. Oh I also bought This Is Her bc of you. It is so comfy, cozy, I wear it to bed. Now this is what you call a haul!! You got some awesome fragrances!

Indeed, Roja perfumes are through the roof with the quality of their presentation, bottles and the juice inside. Bougie as far as it goes. Sadly, it's not easy to sample them and it's risky to buy the full bottle at the skyrocketing price point.

On the same page as you with the Babycat, I bought a 10ml; the first spray was a NOOOO. Now, I am in complete and unconditional love and only found one bottle for $700.00. Babycat has to get to the USA. My Rosendo Mateu is No7 but I want to try No4 and No5. Today I am wearing La Belle Fleur Terrible and it is performing beautifully in Ponce, Puerto Rico. In regards to Not a Perfume Superdose, I am at half of my second bottle😃. This has been a magnificent haul!
It is a gorgeous one but definitely we’re gonna have to do some work around because the $700 prices are an absolute know. So funny I was in PR last month and I did bring my Labelle to wear over there. It’s an ideal fragrance for the beautiful weather. I also tried RM7 I couldn’t do it it’s very strong. My favorites are number 5-6 but 5 being the best! I will do a full house review with all the Fragrances soon 🙂
The prices of designer perfumes have definitely gone up! I think perfume has definitely taken the spotlight and designers are now riding the coat tails of niche houses.

The tuberose in Blanche Bete, definitely, it’s a dealbreaker for us like tonic lovers that don’t necessarily like tuberose, I wish I didn’t have that note I love this is her and milk and I can see how I would be absolutely obsessed with Blanche bete if the Tuberose would be toned down

I have a couple of dupes of Babycat. The first one is from Dua, and I don't really like it... I'm hoping it improves over time. The second is from Andromeda's Moon, and it is beautiful... I love it! I also picked up Cry Baby from Andromeda's Moon... I love it as well.

I’m in the U.S. but had a friend going to Dubai and I asked her to find Babycat. She got me 125ml duty free for $255! It might be worth ordering directly from someplace there if you can. Places in the U. S. that have it are price gauging!

100% about designer frags going up in price! Nearly $200 for a designer frag??? They keep labeling things as "parfum" or "elixir" as if they're more expensive because they're more concentrated, but really on the bottom of the bottle it usually still says "eau de parfum"

I also promised myself a no-buy mode for fragrance since January, and since then I’ve acquired UNN Jardins de Misfah, THOO Ruby Red, and 2 big bottles of Babycat (panic buying much?), Celine Black Tie & Parade and a few more that I have not even unboxed 😃😁😍 my Kayali Pistachio Gelato arrived today ( i knew I needed it when I saw you talked about it). Thank you! I agree about the Babycat hype, and I myself had been frustrated for a whole year or more, to go through the hassle of getting the bottle. I have both Vanagloria (which Dominic Ropion also created) and Rosendo Mateu #5, they smell so closely similar but I still really craved for Babycat. So when I finally got my Babycat(1 bought by my friend in Europe, and 1 bought by my sister-in-law in Dubai), I am finally really really happy. 💕💕💕

I don’t get any rubber smell with RM5 so it’s hard for me to give my opinion if baby cat smells like it, I don’t think that anyone the perceives that burnt rubber smell with RM5 will feel the same with Babycat, because the actual notes are very different. That would be such a good video to make, but I can’t do it because I don’t perceive the burnt smell with RM5 so I wouldn’t be able to really perceive it and explain it to the audience if RM5 versus baby cat are any different

Ugh I want babycat😂. I got vanagloria and the dry down is pretty but for the first 30 minutes I get the strong burning plastic opening which I hate then it slowing becomes. Soft leather/ suede smell that is nice but I want babycat bc it doesn’t. Have this opening
Baby cat is definitely very well blended I feel like anyone that has been getting that burnt plastic for burned. A rubber smell from other Fragrances. We definitely have a very different experience with baby cat, they are are definitely a lot of places online where you can buy a Decant try to Google that and at least get your nose on it 🙂
I completely understand prices are so high. Sometimes I see people on Instagram with collections of Roja and they have over 20 bottles and I’m just thinking how in the world can people afford that many bottles that cost over $700 🤣🤣

In my opinion babycat is the unisex, spiced version of the eau duell edp by diptique. The eau duelle edp is not spiced and is soft, worm, feminin with an expensive feeling regarding quality
I have tried so much to find a Diptique fragrance for my collection, I love their bottles, but nothing works for me. Everything is not sweet enough just so eccentric that it’s not pleasant to me. ☹️☹️
They really are, they are definitely getting up there with niche fragrances and I think that’s a big mistake because we’re going to lose a lot of clientele
The new Donna Born in Roma INTENSE smells like the new Angel Elixer, I have both, Donna INTENSE is a warmer indolic Jasmine benzoin amber and Angel Elixer is a brighter, more vanillac indolic Jasmine. I love both and I don't even like indolic Jasmine! I don't like any other Thierry Mugler fragrances, I didn't like some of the other Jasmine vanillas released recently like Good Fortune from Victor & Rolf, i didn't like that one.but these two I purchased 100ml
Yes you right Seanna !! That’s is one of the reasons why I didn’t buy Donna intense it felt repetitive because of Angel elixir. And in all honesty, I was also probably a little bit led down, because I was expecting a darker version of the OG Valentino, born in Roma, and not necessarily a vanillic fragrance. I was a little bit heartbroken because the bottle is gorgeous 🥰🥰🥰 My goodness they did such a good job. I think it’s way prettier than the OG bottle but maybe after I’m done with Angel elixir I will switch it up and get Donna Intense. 🥰🤗

I knew it wasn’t crazy. 🤣🤣 I had the opportunity to smell points of Berlin at that same boutique that I smelled the Amouage fragrances, I felt that it was a nice for it once, but very faint, and it wasn’t something that I would want a full bottle. It’s been a little while now, so I may have to revisit it, I know it’s a cult favorite, I was also very disappointed with mango skin. I had such high hopes for that one. I thought it was going to be my mango fragrance of life, but I was let down by it too ☹️

Baby cat is a strong animalic vanilla. It’s like the smell of a cat fur+ the cat pee+ a strong vanilla. Why is this parfumé so hype???😂😂 I can’t believe the hype , it made my stomach sick in holt renfrew when I tested and had to run at bathroom to wash it . Again a lesson for me do not buy parfumés that are hype until I try them

I cant imagine having to wait to wear a fragrance because of weather. I get all 4 seasons in NY and I just wear what I want. I dont understand why you would torture yourself like that.
It’s just because it gets so hot here in Florida and when you wear thick fragrances, they really don’t smell good, the humidity here in the high heat it’s just difficult to handle those fragrances.
@@Moraima_Buonafede i visit my parents in Florida and I dont find it difficult to wear certain fragrances. If they are super loud I may do a couple less sprays because I have a heavy hand lol. I do understand certain people get headaches or are sensitive to certain scents in the heat.
There is nothing animalic in Babycat!!!! Incense. Pepper. Vanilla. Add vanilla layers if you want to minimize incense note. Do NOT fear if you don't like animalic! Absolute Aphrodisiac is an animalic vanilla!!! THAT was a nope for ME.

Tried dUA's version and it was disgusting but I also don't think I would like the original perfume

100% about designer frags going up in price! Nearly $200 for a designer frag??? They keep labeling things as "parfum" or "elixir" as if they're more expensive because they're more concentrated, but really on the bottom of the bottle it usually still says "eau de parfum"

I agree about the Babycat hype, and I myself had been frustrated for a whole year or more, to go through the hassle of getting the bottle. I have both Vanagloria (which Dominic Ropion also created) and Rosendo Mateu #5, they smell so closely similar but I still really craved for Babycat. So when I finally got my Babycat(1 bought by my friend in Europe, and 1 bought by my sister-in-law in Dubai), I am finally really really happy. 💕💕💕
If RM5 smells so similar to Babycat, does that mean that the latter also has that rubbery smell as well?
@narwhallllll, hello! I don’t get the burned rubber smell in both Babycat and Vanagloria, but I do find both and RM#5, closely similar, maybe in the other aspects.

I don’t get any rubber smell with RM5 so it’s hard for me to give my opinion if baby cat smells like it, I don’t think that anyone the perceives that burnt rubber smell with RM5 will feel the same with Babycat, because the actual notes are very different.
That would be such a good video to make, but I can’t do it because I don’t perceive the burnt smell with RM5 so I wouldn’t be able to really perceive it and explain it to the audience if RM5 versus baby cat are any different

Ugh I want babycat😂. I got vanagloria and the dry down is pretty but for the first 30 minutes I get the strong burning plastic opening which I hate then it slowing becomes. Soft leather/ suede smell that is nice but I want babycat bc it doesn’t. Have this opening
Baby cat is definitely very well blended I feel like anyone that has been getting that burnt plastic for burned. A rubber smell from other Fragrances. We definitely have a very different experience with baby cat, they are are definitely a lot of places online where you can buy a Decant try to Google that and at least get your nose on it 🙂
That Roja Dove one is extremely high. I haven’t gotten to the point where I’ll spend $800 for a fragrance. Sounds lovely though. Will wait for a dupe
I completely understand prices are so high. Sometimes I see people on Instagram with collections of Roja and they have over 20 bottles and I’m just thinking how in the world can people afford that many bottles that cost over $700 🤣🤣

In my opinion babycat is the unisex, spiced version of the eau duell edp by diptique. The eau duelle edp is not spiced and is soft, worm, feminin with an expensive feeling regarding quality
I have tried so much to find a Diptique fragrance for my collection, I love their bottles, but nothing works for me. Everything is not sweet enough just so eccentric that it’s not pleasant to me. ☹️☹️

The new Donna Born in Roma INTENSE smells like the new Angel Elixer, I have both, Donna INTENSE is a warmer indolic Jasmine benzoin amber and Angel Elixer is a brighter, more vanillac indolic Jasmine. I love both and I don't even like indolic Jasmine! I don't like any other Thierry Mugler fragrances, I didn't like some of the other Jasmine vanillas released recently like Good Fortune from Victor & Rolf, i didn't like that one.but these two I purchased 100ml
Yes you right Seanna !! That’s is one of the reasons why I didn’t buy Donna intense it felt repetitive because of Angel elixir. And in all honesty, I was also probably a little bit led down, because I was expecting a darker version of the OG Valentino, born in Roma, and not necessarily a vanillic fragrance.

I had the opportunity to smell points of Berlin at that same boutique that I smelled the Amouage fragrances, I felt that it was a nice for it once, but very faint, and it wasn’t something that I would want a full bottle.
It’s been a little while now, so I may have to revisit it, I know it’s a cult favorite, I was also very disappointed with mango skin. I had such high hopes for that one. I thought it was going to be my mango fragrance of life, but I was let down by it too ☹️

Baby cat is a strong animalic vanilla. It’s like the smell of a cat fur+ the cat pee+ a strong vanilla. Why is this parfumé so hype???😂😂 I can’t believe the hype , it made my stomach sick in holt renfrew when I tested and had to run at bathroom to wash it . Again a lesson for me do not buy parfumés that are hype until I try them

The tuberose in blanche bete ruined it for me (it makes it too mature). If it had a different floral I think it would be beautiful.
I get that too the tuberose is a little too predominant for me, I have also realized as I heard it comes more alive when the weather is warmer, so definitely, this would be only a winter fragrance

I cant imagine having to wait to wear a fragrance because of weather. I get all 4 seasons in NY and I just wear what I want. I dont understand why you would torture yourself like that.
It’s just because it gets so hot here in Florida and when you wear thick fragrances, they really don’t smell good, the humidity here in the high heat it’s just difficult to handle those fragrances.
@@Moraima_Buonafede i visit my parents in Florida and I dont find it difficult to wear certain fragrances. If they are super loud I may do a couple less sprays because I have a heavy hand lol. I do understand certain people get headaches or are sensitive to certain scents in the heat.
There is nothing animalic in Babycat!!!! Incense. Pepper. Vanilla. Add vanilla layers if you want to minimize incense note. Do NOT fear if you don't like animalic! Absolute Aphrodisiac is an animalic vanilla!!! THAT was a nope for ME.
I agree with you. Absolute aphrodisiac is enough for me as well. It’s almost a yes, but the animalic notice to predominant and I can’t do it.
