Hi Beth! Love your videos and your style! Soooo the "nautical belt" that you picked up is called a gait belt. It is used by CNA and nursing staff to assist elderly people in walking. Thats why it has a claw like buckle so it can be adjusted to any patients waist. You may get a couple of strange looks if you wear it in public 😊
I do Physical therapy. I wear mine outside at times lol. Love a good gait belt.

Love your channel for one reason…you’re not afraid to show your excitement or be silly in public. Lots of the thrifters I watch are self conscious of filming while shopping and talk quietly. While I don’t always vibe with the things you love (most of the time I do), I get lots of ideas and confidence to wear what makes me feel good.
That long belt is a patient transfer belt!used to wrapped the patient waist and to help transfer onto a chair or bed! It’s big because it’s meant for all sizes 👍🏼

That belt is actually what is called a gait belt. We use them in health care when someone is weak and needs an assist to help them walk.

That is a strap used for medical purposes as in physical therapy wher the therapist can help the patient walk by holding the back of the strap. But looks good as a belt. I have one in pink with spring color stripes 😊. You gave me a great idea! Thanks! 😊

The black school girl dress could be styled very Wednesday Adams. The layering piece with holes was crochet. You need to find a friend who crochets. We can fix those holes in seconds. The JMcClintock was amazing.

Ughhhh… I loooove thrift shopping so much even watching it on RUclips is fun! You make it fun. It’s frustrating though now as a plus size because most everything I like is that feeling of when you tried on the striped shirt that was too snug. You like it but it just doesn’t fit right. Keep making awesome content! Love it!😊
Wowsa best day in a really long time. Fortunately for me I can just shop all my closets. Which is nice as I have so much to decide on. It's time for me to wear things I loved one more time and then pass them on. It's enough to be able to wear stuff I wore in 1965....great and now done other stylist can pick them up in thrift store just like I did then. Happy Trails!

Just an thought, if you know you’re going to layer balloon sleeve blouses underneath a dress (like the Eddie Bauer floral dress) then the looser bigger underarm area actually accommodates this better. 😊

Love your narrative look. See I thrifted a couple of cotton white nightgowns but not sure how or if I going to wear them because the fabric so thin. This was fun to watch, because you started in the dress section and there was a lot of good stuff on racks that were great summer pieces. My favorite find got to be the sequin skirt and the black blazer dress and that Cache at the seashore button up shirt. I’m glad this thrift shop isn’t near where I live because there’s too much to buy there. Must be hard for you because everything you put on looks fabulous, how do you put things back which look so good. Curious where this is, though, because the Goodwill in my Town has nothing but ragged junk in it. I think the buyers and employees take all the good stuff for themselves and sell it online.
