The captions in the video showed that it was running at 900hp on pump fuel and on a non-prepped race surface. The crazy low times for the Demon 170 you've seen were likely on a race prepped surface with race fuel at 1000hp+. Note the high trap speed for the Demon at the end of the quarter. Once it started gain traction, it was too late to maximize the benefits of the insane power it produces. This scenario was simulating an everyday street race. Thanks for commenting and watching!

It is in the best interest of each guest to do their best and would make no sense for them to do anything less. As for the McLaren, it was actually a 765LT, not a 720. Launch control was used each time it raced. The slower start was related to it's struggle for traction. If you have ever driven a McLaren 720 or 765 you might be familiar with this at launch.
