I don't think he's actually Aboriginal. Xavier's mother's family is white. His father wouldn't talk about his family history, so Xavier dreamed that he had an Aboriginal great grandmother. There are a lot of white people who claim some obscure connection to Aboriginal ancestry so that they can separate themselves from their white colonial history, and disavow any guilt/shame.
