Pat Torpey is such an underrated drummer. Underrated may not be the right word because anyone that knows a good musician when they see one would rate him very high. Criminally unrecognized would be a better term. He is a baddass rock drummer. So sorry to hear about his recent diagnosis of Parkinson's disease. Seems so unfair.
Mr. Torpey was the fucking man. I hope some of the younger drummers coming up will stumble across his work and at least appreciate how truly great and talented he was.
