@@jonasnitz7678 Microscopic mistakes are actually necessary for the music to communicate properly in terms of emotion. Interrestingly this is true in all musical categories. If you isolate Lemmy's basslines in Motörhead tracks, they are full of mistakes; and likewise the delivery of Maria Callas was godlike but far from fault-free. The human mind can't focus equally on the technical and the emotional.

@@M1tjakaramazov This is not Chopin's Étude Op. 25, No. 5, is not an exercice in dissonance or a matter of expression, it's the wrong note, not microscopic pitch variations, impossible to do on purpose on a piano anyway. It's a good performance but it is ok to admit there are a few misteps here and there.

If only these great composers were around in a time when video recording existed. I would have loved seeing how the man himself would have played his music.

My goal as a "pianist" will be to be able to play this myself at some point... I've already played Adagio, the first movement of this song, so the ultimate dream for me would be unite all three pieces! Of course, I've only played for 5 years and I'm probably never going to be professional, but I think it'd be great to have a truly impressive piece to play for people who ask you to prove that you can play piano. c:

Kousei played this from YLIA[your lie in april] and it is awesome!! I love this song!!! I love Beethoven and Mozart XD
I heard someone trying to play this in my school. This is what PROFESSIONAL means. I don't think I wanna see the score, not because I am scared. it is because my eyes will go blind before I even start playing

It's amazing how the musicians of that era were extremely talented geniuses. Now we're stuck listening to idiots swinging naked on wrecking balls or drug addicted law breaking morons with absolutely no talent who sing songs written by someone else with computer generated music. They make more money for it too!

I'd imagine the 18th and 19th centuries had talentless, media-whores too.
However, the good thing about the passing of time is that the garbage is eventually forgotten and things of true quality live on forever.
