    Not much faster, but way more capable. I bet MM can get to and through places mud and much that the stock model can't touch, and it looks a lot more comfortable to ride in as well. As much as I like the look of the wider stance though (it's so cool looking), it seems like that actually takes away the utility in some situations as the 50 inch model can fit into places the bigger one can't. I bet it's been really fun modding it to get exactly what you want out of it though. For people that are just shopping UTVs, they better pick carefully. The upgrades that I think add the most utility without taking away would be the shocks, the bigger tires (although not too big as stability becomes an issue), and the front diff that I saw you put on in another video. If Honda would sell the p520 with the front locking diff, power steering, and a bit bigger tires out of the gate, they would have close to the perfect machine on their hands.

    500 vs 520? Mighty mouse is the reason I ended up with a smaller machine. But I ended up with the 520.

      I’m wanting to do just that! I need to find someone close with a 520 though. I have yet to even see one anywhere close to me here in central Pa. Honda was suppose to send me a demo to review back when they came out but with the limited availability right now I’m not sure that’s going to happen anymore unfortunately.

    Just picked up a 2016 p500 for a very reasonable price. Did you end up making a turbo kit to sell for it? Id be very interested.

      I’m still working on perfecting it. I’m going to be working on it more this year to get everything 100% dialed in and working flawlessly

    I love MM. I always watch a vid if its got MM in it. I also understand that the journey is the point. Often though, I am forced to contemplate the time and money that went into making her. It often feels the P500 was just the wrong machine for what you wanted to do, and the money would have been better spend just buying the right machine rather than making the P500 something it's not. Don't take it the wrong way though, I'm so glad you've done what you've done. Put a 400hp LS into it and I'll watch that and laugh (and drool) too. Keep it up.

      I think the fact the P5 was the wrong machine for what I’ve done is the main motivation in why I did it😂😂😂
      Guess I’m sick of the same old “bolt on” performance upgrade video’s all the other RUclips guys are doing with their X3’s and RZR’s. Those are a dime a dozen on RUclips and though I’m sure I could get a big jump in growth if I did that too I’d rather do something different and innovative!😁😎
      Now and LS swap...that might be pushing it a little bit.....however.....🤔.....🤣🤣🤣

      Kinda thinking the same thing. The whole point of the pioneer 500 is that it’s the only utility utv that’s 50” wide. By adding the suspension kit, you’ve made it much wider, probably 60” wide now. And all the extra weight eats a good chunk of the extra power the turbo adds. I bet a stock Wolverine 700 would still smoke it, that would be a fair race I think. I would have just bought a Wolverine in the first place. To each their own I guess. It’s still an interesting outside the box idea of the turbo on the pioneer 500. I just feel like doing all that to it is like taking a v6 truck and adding a homemade turbo instead of just getting a v8 and not needing to add hp in the first place.
