I care for many stray and feral colonies near my house. It is literally what I do for a living since it has become such a big problem. I've built bonds with all of them and do whatever I can for them.. but in the meantime.. I was like.. how did we domesticate these animals yet them be so independent? That led me to YT which lead me here and I am not disappointed. Such a well done video that I plan on showing to many of my colleagues. Cats are superior and I will not hear otherwise. 😜🥰🥰🌹
I did not know religion impacted the bubonic plague. That’s a big detail that we didn’t learn at school and its actually kept me interested. I don’t usually even comment but you’re helping me improve my attention span. Keep the great work up don’t get discouraged. Ur closed where you want to be than where you were when you started

Unlike dogs and cats which domesticated since 10 to 30 thousands years ago...hamster is still newly domesticated since 1910 - 1940 and its just a century...Thanks if you can do that

Nice video however it's not very accurate. Cat's do meow when humans aren't around, put a camera on your cat if you don't believe me. The very first domesticated cat we know of is 40 000 years old found on Cyprus, not 10 000 years. Other than that, great video!
Honestly, goats actually do eat anything in front of them. I have a few goats and they've eaten their fair share of non-food items. For example, Coconut is known for eating chalk. They all took part in eating a broom. Oh, and also a basket we'd thrown out. Plus people. They WILL try to eat your fingers if you let them. Also they like to lick the sweat off your arms on a hot day, which tbh feels kinda nice.
Wish this was a little more kid friendly. I’d let my 8 yr old watch this all day but a 5 yr old with speech issues…. There’s gonna be waaaayyy too many questions that I can’t communicate to her… It’s a shame but my 13 yr old loved it haha
You missed out on telling your audience that for a long period of time it was a capital offense to smuggle or transport cats out of Egypt in ancient times. They would kill you for it.
Interesting note, ships back in the day carrying grain and such had to have a cat on board the ship, otherwise insurance companies refused to cover them.
Great idea starting the video with “since the beginning of the internet” and then use the historical context before as a supplemental. At least the internet age sort of makes the animals less alien and people more part of the animals in this light…

Cats are actually really social. They live in groups called colonys and they live similarly to lions

In the wild they are extremely social and do live in colonies, but housed cats tend to be more isolated and territorial.
