Man! Thank you so much! Your beats from Come Again, So Far So Good, and Easy Comes with Thornley, still resonate with me to this day! I'm so happy I found you still doing your thing! Thank you for all the great years man. Full appreciation for your talent and skill.
Hey Sekou - I am about to pull the trigger on these (pun intended). Had one quick question, how are do these perform with swells? Do you think the 18" ride would function well as a crash? I prefer the larger sizes and could assign cowbell or other alternate sounds to the bells.
They're as responsive as the module you're using, would be the best way to put it! I'm, running my kit through the Superior Drummer 3 plug-in (using the the TD-50 brain as my controller) and the fidelity is second to none! Very responsive to swells, chokes and dynamic volumes. You could absolutely use the ride as a crash, and yes just assign another/same crash midi-note to the bell, you'd be all set.
Works great, have used with both plenty. The real trick is getting SD3 dialled in to work properly. I have a separate video on how to get you most of the way there up on my channel.
These make more noise than rubber cymbals for sure, but not much more. The best idea I could give is if you were to grip a real cymbal with the meaty part of your palm and strike it. It's no louder than that.

Great stuff!!! Love Field! Use them with my Mimic Pro and Muzzio MX Maple kit.
Awesome brother! Can’t wait to see you tonight with Big Wreck!
Very cool. Have you been able to compare the difference between the touch and squeeze choke options?
Is it true your back with Ian? I heard your in big wreck?

@@FortyDeuce - Thanks, I am using a TD50 with SD3 too. I assume you bought the "touch" choke version vs the squeeze choke?
May check these out. Loved the song - who is it?
Those 15 Hats? Or even 16s?
I was wondering how does the hi hat triggers while using superior drummer3 or EZdrummer 3?

@@FortyDeuce Thanks man, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
Tasty playing man my question is how smooth is the high hat action?
Thanks! Super smooth, I have no notes!
How long was your wait time for these cymbals to be finished and shipped to you?
I've never waited longer than a couple weeks.
What is this song? The groove is invigorating
Thanks my man! It's actually for a loan artist I'd just recorded for, but unfortunately her album isn't out yet.
@@FortyDeuce I want it! Also, very nice drumming. Always loved your style dude.
How is the acoustic volume compared to rubber roland cymbals? I have a set of ATVs and looking to grab a 18" raw ride...

@@FortyDeuce good analogy. I also feel it's just a different pitch sound than rubber.... More of a wack versus a thud sound..
Wheres a good place to order these from?!
