Amy should be seeking a annulment as she married with him telling a complete false history PLUS the fact he was convicted of marrage fraud there is no way a court wouldnt give her one straight away. And even if she went the divioice route she doesnt need his permission or agreement as it would end up in court who would grant her an annulment without hesitation and yes the court would change the divoice to a annulment if thats what they thought was apropreate.

Most people will contact the hospital he works at or go there themselves to check if he was okay.

People like Amy really have no common sense... how can you expect help from someone who recents you and probably detest you as well. Also it should be obvious to her that she should get a lawyer. She just wants her sister's money. She and Kevin are a perfect match. Good thing OP has a spine.

A doctor would have requested and gotten time off for wedding and honeymoon. They wouldn’t take the chance there might be an emergency .

how it is possible to sign divorce papers and mariage papers one after another the same day... and without the person knowing? Is it only legal? Maybe in USA it is? In my country, you have to wait several months between the moment the divorce is legally registered (it can take several months) and the moment you are allowed to remarry...

In Canada it takes months (if you’re lucky) to get a divorce. It involves lawyers and the courts. I’m not sure about the time limit for remarriage

@@Canada-j6r in Belgium you can get divorce in common... for my divorce I was the only one to have assets and we were in separation of goods, so very easy... anyway, it took one year to be officialised. Fortunately, there were no children involved (my son is mine, not my ex-husband's son) so it is easier. For remarriage, you must wait a few month... and a child born within the 9 months after separation is considered as the ex-husband child (or the father need to refuse the paternity with a paternity test)
