The notion of a flawless marriage or relationship is a myth. There's no set formula for success; what works for one couple may not work for another. Yet, I've discovered that there's always a way forward, even in the most challenging times. Five years ago, my wife and I encountered significant hurdles in our marriage that nearly led to divorce. Despite the adversity, we managed to weather the storm and emerge from it with our bond renewed and revitalised

Nothing special?! 😢😢 handmade items are precious as hell. My mom passed away 8 years ago and cousins who got her baby blankets have cried and hold onto those blankets to this day. She is so ungrateful.

My MIL’s sister did this to her. If they weren’t specific brands she gave them to Goodwill.

Handmade doesn't mean inferior. My wife enjoys crocheting and I know quite a few people who proudly display afghans that she made for them and several who proudly wear shawls that she made. She loves people and it shows in her work because she will not leave a flaw in anything she makes. I've seen her completely take something apart because she saw something she didn't like and start over rather than leave a flaw that nobody else would ever see.

I was dumb and didn’t know afghans were a type of blankets. I was wondering what the Afghanistan people had to do with this 😭

I had to do that with a sewing project earlier today. I try to make things perfect but I am my biggest critic...I usually don't like how some of the things I crochet or sew come out. For some reason when I add a face/head to something it is always crooked.

@@gracechiang537Ha ha ha, that's actually funny. But afghan is not just a blanket/throw/shawl, there's also a dog breed called Afghan Hound (oftentimes just "Afghan" for short). Beautiful dogs.

I liked the ending. Too many of these stories have the woman get trapped in an abusive marriage, having her being trapped in a loving family and having her hate it is a lot funnier 🤣

    Ugh. Babies aren't accessories, Sarah.
Although I wonder if the in-laws are buying the clothes on purpose, knowing she hates them.

It's funny how Sarah stands up to op by calling her hand-made baby terrible while admitting that she rips them and throws them away. But she can't do the same thing to her mother-in-law when she buys tacky baby clothes.

Sarah, babies and small kids dont need designer clothes. They would get them dirty too easily.

They grow out of them in about a week too.

Let's not get too old fashioned in these stories. A woman's place isn't just being pregnant!

I want to know how Sarah didn't know what her Sil did for a living? I know what my in-laws do. But I'm not a selfish entitled brat
