Before watching this video , I did the same setup, but my internet is not working in Vmware as well as virtual box, What is the fix for that????? Vmware VM is able to communicate with the Vritualbox VM but none of the machines can communicate with internet.
Actually it will work but u may find some issue when using kali vm because unless u change it only one interface can be activated at once. So for that if you google ull get the solution and if not get into my sever buddy 🙂
1) If ur OS is windows it might deny all the ICMP requests so ping doesnt work 2) Check if the bridged network adapter is connected to the machine in VBox. Check If you see an IP assigned to the adapter when you do ip a or ifconfig.

@@LexiLominite tried all your options and didn't work. ip address is not getting assigned in vmware eth1 (nat network) and also no ip is assigned for host only network in virtualbox. let me know if you have any solution

I followed all your steps. I was pinging from virtual box to VMware. I am getting the error ping: connect: Network is unreachable
