It's easy to forget how good the sound design in this game is. While the encoding quality might come up short compared to modern title developed for modern hardware, the soundscape isn't crowded like the majority of titles today seem so fond of and the music is location aware.
Guys I have a problem with the game mod that includes DS1 maps. LAN on ultrean is not possible. The game crashes on both machines as soon as players are near eachother. But funnily it works as soon as players are not in the vicinity of eachother. Since we are all running 2.30, I believe you have the same problem! And thanks for the gameplay in 1440p - I'm curious why it's in 48fps though!
Nice, but still strange to see that you toss out on ground when you switching out equipment - less gold that way, - and that you don't check and pick up important things. Also the one thing i see that you don''t get nature magic on all to 5 at least because of the healing and to get the little pet to all to aid in battle - also in the beginning to get lothar up on that so he can use transmute on old equipment you drop to get gold faster and enough to go back and get the 3. member fast. I also crush all barrels and open all chests to get all the gold and maybe surprise gear. Different plastyle - but i would have done dual wield on lothar in the beginning on first playthrough and when get Eva you do shield with her or ofc the other way around, but duelwild is better since it gets often that equipment. But nice to see this game by others, played it since it came out and still play it from time to time. 👍
Graphics look great for such an older game, I'll search the web for a mod that updates the graphics and resolution for Good Ol Games DS2 release to enjoy a similar experience that you have.
my game will not run in higher resolution than 1024x768, even through editing the DungeonSiege2BrokenWorld file or setting a custom resolution from elys mod. if i run it windowed and press maximize it will go black. any ideas?

The one enemy group I would have love to have seen in DS2 are the floating skulls (rectors, possessed skulls, and punishers)

i only used mod that increases text size. you can get these graphics by using hd resolution + reshade shaders.

No idea, as far as i know steam version is incomplete.
It should be possible - There is a way to unlock the full version of the game on steam, and run the 2.30 mod which includes all DS1 maps!
