Great review Tripod! That looks like a solid laser for a company’s first laser! Thanks for pointing out the camera issue, and how it was recalibrated. I watched two or three videos, where the camera was off and they didn’t even bother trying to get the issue resolved! Really? Go the extra mile and see what the issue is. Great job!
😅
John, I'm impressed with this machine for $1000. I wish the Falcon had a camera, and enclosure. This seems to be the best laser for a $1000 based on the features, including the rotary unit. You are becoming the go to reviewer for lasers - good job
you killed it again , great review
Many thanks!
Great Video John. Interesting Machine. Will share on my Socials.
Thanks Jerry! Much appreciated!
Nice review John! I'll be getting to mine soon.
Brilliant as always
Got mine a couple days ago. The only problem I have is once in a while it locks up partway through an engraving job. Found if I turn the machine off wait 10 or or so seconds then turn it back on hit auto focus then start the engraving again it starts over and completes the job. Other than that I'm happy with it.
Thank You!!!
Camera calibration should be part of the setup process
Otherwise, it looks like a great product
its a great laser and great review. How do I set it to bi-directional ?
Good review 👍
Thanks Angry!
great video and nice engraver. makes me super curious about them now that there is a rotary option...very cool
Thanks! This has to be the easiest setup for a rotary for any machine I have tested thus far.
thanks for the informative video. i'm very interested in this particular laser because of the included chuck rotary. my current machine is the xtool M1 with the basic rotary that does not have a chuck which makes alignment and set up challenging some times. and their RA2 Pro rotary is expensive, im considering adding this one as a 2nd laser for my business, which should help production
Very good machine. Great video
Maybe something they need to add to their setup documentation of calibrating the camera
Yeah, it is a great value with the $500 off. If creators are not sending back feedback on known early release machines, then they are not adding value. I emailed my rep letting him know that this resolved my issue (also by watching the video 😉). Hope they add this to the initial setup, and or troubleshooting steps. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Can the rotary hold 40oz tumblers? Do you know the volatge and amperage requires ro run machine?
Does the rotary and air assist come standard
Great review. I am so torn between Wecreat and Glowforge Aura.
Many thanks!
I do not have the Aura. I watched my share of reviews\videos on it. If it were me, I would go with the WeCreat. Seems to have more features, and will be LightBurn compatible soon. Which means you will not be locked down to a cloud app. Glowforge just seems to over price their products, I believe you are getting less for your money in comparison to other manufacturers. However, that is just my opinion, I am sure many would disagree with me.
I have the WeCreat but I can’t get it to focus on small objects such as a hand sized rock.
There is a focusing spot towards the middle, have you placed it there?
Nice work!
How bad was the exhaust from the rear? Was there a decent level of filtration?
I used a air purifier, and it worked great. The seal around the laser worked better than I expected, I didn’t even smell any of the wood being engraved. It also has a fan on the backside to exhaust out a window if you so choose.
@@TripodsGarage.... Hello, you said in this video that this unit has a built in air assist but you also mentioned an exhaust port with a built in fan so you could use the included hose to vent out a window.
Why do they have both included if you can just use the air assist? 🤔
Are there any situations where you MUST use the exhaust fan and hose and vent outside a window instead of using the air assist?
If you use one vs the other, are there any strong fumes/smells and/or any excessive smoke where you would have to use one over the other?
Are there any cases where you would have to use both methods?
You also said in this video you were using an air purifier, is that the same thing as the included air assist? You also say you're using a fume extractor. Is that the thing that looks like a dryer vent, and if so, do you HAVE to use a fume extractor, and is that also included with this machine? If you DON'T use a fume extractor, are there any strong fumes/odors/smoke? I'm really confused now. 😕
I'm sorry for all of the questions, but my husband and I are looking at possibly buying our first laser and we were considering the Xtool F1 because of its portability, but I just saw the Wecreate laser this morning and have been researching and looking up RUclips videos to find out more about it.
Thank you very much.
@@lindascraftsandthings915 Hello Linda. The exhaust expels fumes caused by cutting or engraving. Air assist is an air pump that pumps air either through the laser nozzle or next to it. Air assist allows for a much cleaner cut. Also if can help keep your lenses clean. Hope that answers your question?
@@TripodsGarage is the exhaust the thing that looks like a dryer vent? If so, do we need to place it by a window to direct the fumes out of the house? All of this is making my head spin. 😵💫
