It's actually because these Sonic sprites reuse the minus version of N. (yes the alternate's name is N)

Yeah they didn't change much besides making the eyes flash colors and add black spikes witch is pretty lazy but still a good reskin
these sprites remind me a lot of TROJAN Sonic's true form. TROJAN is a really good .EXE and it deserves more attention

I personally like how his animations jerk making him more creepy giving him a offish feeling
And that’s not even mentioning the fact he’s not looking at the player character he’s starring directly into the camera knowing that it’s the only reason why he can’t truly kill anything alive. Like a predator looking at prey from behind glass.

I was actually just listening to these a couple days ago! Perfect timing. It’s a nice mashup just fix the sonic animations, as they get cut off sometimes.
I think it cuts off because it’s mixing between two sprites very very fast whilst having an animation over it to make it do that weird twitch

This design looks way too similar to minus encounter. It straight up took the arrow eyes from there and pretty much just added spikes to make it "sonic"
it took the entirety of the animations, added spikes and bugged the animations to the point where they arent even on the stage right

Replace mark or adam with tails or knuckles since he definitely would use a gun (maybe) also remove the arrows from his eyes, make his eyes stretch, and boom, sonic analog horror mod, i guess.
Or just replace mark or adam with shadow.
