💔😭 It's amazing how the ones we love, especially our parents, take a piece of us with them and yet, leave so much more of them with us at the same time. I miss my parents very much. It has been almost three years since my Mom has passed and it still feels like yesterday in so many ways. I still feel her in my day to day. We buried her on her birthday, her family holding hands, sang happy birthday through tears at her grave. My sister in law said at that moment, she saw all my moms grown children as her small children... her sons and daughters. Everything that she was, like that leaf, is in us and the cycle goes on. I thought about what you said about life and death and mating... LOL yes, thank goodness mating doesn't have to involve death except for some insects like the Praying Mantis. The female brutally kills the male after the deed is done. 🤣 I was thinking about that further... perhaps it is our prospective that it is a savage action? Maybe it is a selfless act on behalf of the male? Perhaps it is part of the process to ensure she gets enough nutrients to fertilize the eggs?
I wish you so many blessings like I have received through loved ones passing, while still the toughest thing, yet a bittersweet daily reminder of their love for us in so many unexpected moments as time goes on. May the power of creation be with you all on this journey. Much love to you all! ❤️ Like I said about my Mother... a beautiful life... your father literally was a beautiful life... and will always be. ❤️

This poem helped me when I lost my dad. May it bring you comfort.
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

Some days after my sister's father-in-law passed away she looked outside and saw her eldest daughter (then just 3 years old, but much wiser than her age) through the kitchen window talking to a puddle of water. Perplexed, my sister asked her daughter when she came inside why she was talking to the puddle. Her reply, "So when the puddle dries up and goes to Heaven, Grandpa can hear everything I said to him."
The Vlog is your puddle Justin - keep it going.................Boots will hear ya'.

your dad taught me the most important lessons of life: to have a positive attitude, stay smiling, stay happy no matter what the situation is even on the death bed, I can't believe how positive your dad was smiling laughing and enjoying the last moments of his life. he was a real hero and I will remember him for a lifetime. I joined your channel for just farming-related videos never knowing that you will share such a story that will change my entire life. I always kept on blaming others, stayed unhappy, in a depressed mood, but now after seeing your dad, I will enjoy each and every moment of my life, I will always be praising Allah for how much Allah has given to me: health, parents, siblings, relatives, and so on... thanks a lot for sharing this Justin... love your family... I will definitely visit you if I ever came by your country...

So im here just to be one of the thousands who truly loved and respected a man we never met. To tell you that your Father was truly extraordinary. His kind and compassionate ways could be felt through a video and I know, I am not alone when I say that his presence in the vlog will be missed.

Beautifully, perfectly stated. It's taken me a week to be able to click on it. I wasn't ready to say goodbye to Boots. And wasn't ready to watch all of you say goodbye either. The pain of loss is unimaginable. Thank you Justin for pulling the blessing out of the pain. Our tears bring life. Our pain brings life. This time last year I lost my Grandmother who was really like my mother- she raised me. I read a quote that said "the leaves are about to show us the beauty in letting go." It helped me grieve over my Granny. Now last month we lost my mother-in-law. A year later to the day. And just like the passage of the seasons, here came the beautiful leaves reminding me to let her go. Change is hard, loss is hard, but there is beauty in letting go. Like you said, Mother tree mourns for the child/leaf she is losing. Yet we rejoice as he falls. And as your dad has passed, we mourn for our loss. But his parents and others who have gone before him are rejoicing to have him back.
Thank you for showing us the beauty in all things. Thank you for telling us your story. Thank you for sharing your dad with us. He has changed my life. Love and prayers to each of you ❤🍂🍁

@@hereandtherehomestead2201 I did hospice care while in college. Very few passed without their momma's or other family members coming for them, it's more common than not. One particular man, who held out against the Lord until it was almost too late, caved, accepted the Lord, and immediately said he was in his Gramma's kitchen at Christmas time, eating snickerdoodles. Then, he said the sky filled with bells of all sizes, of all tones, ringing in his welcome home. In watching this video, I was reminded of the story of Narnia: my dad died speaking of the beautiful land, to just get there no matter what, and the enclosed garden where generations feast and celebrate, awaiting our return, as well as the old song about the circle being unbroken, in the sky Lord by and by. I pray all our circles be unbroken in that beautiful land. Grandpa graduated yesterday. No more sorrow, no more pain. Amen.

When Father in law died, I loved that man who was more of a father to me than my own, hubby and I started a list of "Dale-isms". Phrases that my FIL would say that were unique to him. We have a several phrase list. He died in 2005. A few weeks ago, hubby and I were stacking wood and in our conversation, we both said the same Dale-ism at the same time and had a good laugh over it. These phrases really keep him alive in our hearts and minds. Their voice may fade from memory but their sayings will always live on. You at least have these recordings. It has been 3.6 years since my parents passed away but my comfort Is in the fact that we shall see them In the Kingdom of our Heavenly Father to come so long as we are His Beloved sons. Shalom and Yahuah Bless as you begin your path to healing after the passing of your Earthly Father.

Same thing with my father. He had set 3 specific dates and after the last date passed he died the following morning. He also had to be given permission to let go and we would all be ok. Relief came to us knowing he was no longer suffering in pain.

Someone I love very much has cancer and starts chemo tomorrow... When I found out it rocked my world... It was a huge shock...
I cried a lot and often. After a couple of weeks, I have come to terms with the fact that the most likely outcome will be the one we don't want.
All I can do is be there for her and help make what time she has left the very best it can be... Keeping her spirits up will give her the best chance of survival or at least the best of the time we have left... I am lost for words right now so I will just wish for you all strenth you need to get through the next few weeks... BIG LOVE TO YOU ALL...❤

Wow ..... I watch you all daily and cant wait to get home from work , make a cup of coffee and watch you ,and the sicker your dad got the more he was in my thoughts . I to began to love him and respect the love he has for his family and the Legacy he was leaving with you all .
I am a Native New Zealander ... A Maori and come from a long line of Warriors . In the Maori language ,anything that is a treasure is called a Toanga ...Precious . And a great Nz tree is a Kauri that grows for Hundreds of years an to a huge size and height . And when an Elder passes over they say "A Great Kauri Has Fallen" Justin Your Loved Kauri has fallen ,a precious Toanga that will live on in you and your children and then pass on to their children and forever keep sowing his seeds of knowledge . My thoughts prayers and love are with you at this time . So every time now you think of Dad and feel a sadness , just know he is still growing in your children and grandchildren and will be forever around you all xxx

I was those kids not too long ago saying goodbye to 3 out of 4 of my grandparents deaths (one granddad died instantly from a heart attack) it was hard as a kid but I’m thankful everyday I was able to say my final goodbyes. So I’m saying this to thank you for not hiding your kids from saying goodbye for now. Lord knows I didn’t want to see my grandparents like that but everyday I’m thankful my parents made me go in and say my goodbyes for now.
