Have you considered digging piles instead of excavating that much dirt for the next house? If you’re using pier and beam, excavating that much area probably wasn’t necessary and was essentially an up charge by the company who did the work. Next time you can use a drill and piles without excavating the surrounding dirt.
I'm doing my best man. Working a full time job and building a home pretty much by myself, running all social media and trying to film/edit for youtube can be a lot.
@@devonloerop oh man, thank you for replying! I will be in Seattle in September, maybe I can buy you some fancy breakfast in exchange of 15 minutes of your time to answer all of my questions!
I follow you on IG and you should be putting all the Instagram stuff on RUclips not over there in my opinion because RUclips could easily be your bread and butter🤑🤟
@@devonloerop no it will only make your RUclips grow more which will make you more money with your longer videos and gain subscribers of course… it’s a super interesting project you’re doing and people want to see it RUclips is the place👍
Not an engineer or an arm chair expert, I’m just curious why you went with galvanized bolts welded to the plates instead of 90 degree bent rebar welded to the plates? Thanks! Really enjoying the content on IG!
I'm in Ontario Canada, and I've always had to use rebar, or 90 degree threaded anchors. I would assume they would just change the "threaded" aspect and not anchor style.

Why are you on RUclips like 4 month behind in comparisons to IG???? I don’t get it you could have done such a cool YT series out of it…
