LIPARI AEOLIE ISLAND, ITALY || 1st VOLCANIC CHAIN ISLAND TO VISIT

Lipari is the largest of a chain of islands in a volcanic archipelago. Where most tourist are base to stay, then touring the other islands ( Vulcano, Panarea, Strimboli, Filicudi & Alicudi ).
Geologists agree that the island was created by four volcanic movements. That is why Pumice mining ( Pumicite - is a volcanic rock that consists of vesicular rough textured volcanic glass ) has become a large industry of the island.
