They actually still did handle it pretty well, In my opinion the Wilson's Cancer arc was BRILLIANT and philosophically poetic to House's character and Wilson's Psyche too, Instead of so much time given to House and Cuddy and introducing stupid characters like Masters in the show, they should've continued from season 6 directly into season 8 with the House Cuddy elements mixed with Wilson's cancer arc, ending with house unable to cope with Wilson's cancer, breaking up with Cuddy and (fake) killing himself(basically the actual ending would've worked) and instead of Cuddy forever hating house, she could've been like Foreman and Chase and found peaxe that house is gone, and the series could've ended with Cuddy voluntarily retiring, making Foreman the dean and chase the head of diagnostics
@@harshbing8123 I like where ya head's at but the tone of your comment makes it sound like House was a force of nature, and honestly the kind of was, but it also kinda misses the humanity that goes with it. HOUSE is misanthropic and mostly infallible as a device for the plot but I loved seeing him break down in season 6. It felt like a narrative shift only to return to the status quo because of production issues like Lisa needing to leave the show.
This is why no matter how much time pass by, I will love 💘this series. Hugh and the entire cast are brilliant. As I watch (over and over) i never get bored.
I never understood why I loved this show so much until I realized I had a problem with alcohol and House was an extreme version of where I might go if I didn’t start correcting something. I always thought I only had one thing in my life that I was good at (like house with puzzles, but not even close to his intelligence), until 2 years ago I lost that thing and fell into a seemingly endless cycle of anger fueled by hating the people I felt took that one thing away from me. I couldn’t end it, so I thought I’d just drink until my early end, so that I wouldn’t leave my friends and family with the guilt of suicide. It would be somewhat natural causes highly influenced by lifestyle. Plus if I never showed that I was doing horribly, then it wouldn’t worry anyone and wouldn’t be one of those “he’s finally free” kinda moments. Nope, just died cuz I liked the fast life or something like that. Sadness, but no guilt, no wondering what they could’ve done. I couldn’t do that to them. Then I found someone who was willing to put up with me, gave me a new life, literally mine and my daughters. And I found a new hobby that makes me feel like I’m finding that “one thing” again. It took two years to find, but I have a new relationship with alcohol and I’m happy to say it is recreational now. I’m happy I didn’t die and I’m happy I survived long enough to realize there’s so much time to turn things around. I think hitting some sort of bottom helped me see how much there was to gain. If you’re struggling with wanting to wake up the next day, give yourself time, try to figure out what’s going on, but start dedicating portions of your day to helping others. The smiles and kind words will help guide you more than you know. Take care of yourself and if all else fails, forgive yourself and wait. I thought “time heals all wounds” or whatever it is was bs, but after 2 years of drifting, I found something new and beautiful. You deserve it just as much as I do. See you tomorrow. :)
Currently 4:04 is my favorite scenes in house. And there’s a ton of things I love about house. If you pay attention to who the writers are and match them up to episodes it’s even better. Liz Friedman and sara Hess paired up this episode. Maybe they just connected with houses character better but some of the lines are priceless. Or pricey.
Would have loved it if a whole season ended up being House as a former-Doctor now Chef who cooks for the Hospital and creates amazing food for Foreman and his crew but also gives them the answer at the end of the day.

They had something good going but they sold it out for more run time. Ugh. At least there were always great moments. Love this show.
“Good choice! Mmm, delicious!”
Wilson is such a good friend.
It's good that they reused the 'character knows a foreign language' thing with the _same_ language.
There is something about people enjoying food that makes me unbelievably happy.
Olivia Wilde is one of the most smoking hot human beings on the face of the planet.

Agreed
Nick Benson I agree and I'm a woman and straight.
“This is the most amazing thing I’ve ever eaten, and yes, I’m including what you’re thinking of now.” 😳
I really don’t understand what the fuss is all about. I just find her beautiful. Not drop dead gorgeous, but just beautiful!
no matter how many times i come across this video 4:20 still cracks me up every time
Based on the comments, not alot of people caught on to that 😂😂 Dont know If thats a good or bad thing haha
4 year olds and also House: *bed is for sissies*
Always good for Captain Holt to help others, no matter what job
It's Season 6 Ep 3 for everyone wondering
Taylor Smith savior
Thank you.. for the only logical comment here!!!😉
I just saw the episode it wasn't there.
Thanks mate
hero love u
HOLD IT, HOLT WAS IN HOUSE . damn I need to rewatch
"you'll have to trust me and you'll have to be patient" asking that of house is like asking a crackhead to watch your bike while you get some beer....
"I'm fine just not happy."This sentence😍👌🏼
I've heard house in different languages and he masters the art of sarcasm in every one of them 🙌🤣😭😭😭
OH MY GOD. i knew i recognized him from somewhere! stuart little, the dad! HOW DID I NOT REMEMBER.
Wait. What? 😮
Normal username What is it with him and rodents? Stuart Little? Steve McQueen?
Lady either him or leave!!! Lol I love this cooking lady

"Wilson, we need to cook lupus"
'You have to trust me and you have to be patient ' .
And he says this to House .
At 1:50 when he puts the spoon back in the pot it sounds exactly like an XBox popup
Or pricey.
I like how House feed Wilson directly
5:33 IS THAT CAPTAIN RAYMOND HOLT?????
"and yes, im including what you are thinking of"
I really love the dynamics between House and Thirteen.
When they throw sh*t at each other, they just throw it back with more sh*t in it.
3:04 is House's inner teacher coming out:
"By the way, you can tell the other lepers that their absence has been noted."
Would have loved it if a whole season ended up being House as a former-Doctor now Chef who cooks for the Hospital and creates amazing food for Foreman and his crew but also gives them the answer at the end of the day.
The thing is, I suddenly completely understand the place House is in. It's a terrible feeling, the fear that nothing will help, nothing will change the situation. Ever. It's very hard to maintain a positive outlook from their...
I wish I had such good psychiatrist.... House really did better when he was in therapy. Shame they screwed it up, all was in vain. This is a good shrink, said so many accurate things.
Yes but they didn't solve the problem. Chronic pain is not only about finding a hobby. They didn't seem to have an alternative route to pain killers, like hypnotherapy or ... Amputation ! I mean, talking therapy is not a therapy that corrects the reaction of the brain to the signal of pain PAIN PAIN !
House got his redemption in the end.
House: You expect me to be patient and trust you?
Nolan: Yas queen. (snap)
2:53 "...Foreman embraces his inner Mugabe." XD
for those who dont know, that last scene is how depression looks like, always thinking it cant be fixed or always going wrong
I loved the way his cooks teacher told her to kiss him or leave.
I'm pretty sure I could watch Olivia Wilde chew food for, like, hours.
That jawline just never quits.
4:14 Those eyes blow me away.
Captain Holt: the ultimate therapist
A happy ending would've been a retired House that would spend his days cooking. "Oh but life is pain!" yeah, but the writers should've prooved House was wrong! That life CAN be painful (his leg, Stacy, Kutner, Cuddy, his career) but there can be GOOD moments in it!
The lady at the start was so on point. "Kiss him or leave!" xD
