Hello! Love your work, making music that great is a dream for me! I just wanted to ask where/how did you learn to compose like that, and what is your process for making these sort of pieces, and the other ones like "all or nothing"?

"You can't break people's expectations if they aren't expecting anything to begin with" is a great takeaway for this video and something I want to keep practicing in my own pieces.
I just checked out the full "Forever an Enigma" piece, too - it's really quite nice. Speaking of breaking expectations, it also has a cool kind of false ending around the 5 min 30 sec mark. Link for anybody looking for it: ruclips.net/video/FskxdbdwJwM/видео.html

Seycara has some of the most flavorful chords imo. Really gorgeous woodwinds always. Awesome to see them finally get the recognition!

i would love to learn even more on writing longer pieces. your videos on ABA form really helped me! if you could do videos on even larger forms like sonata or any of the others, id love to see it

i remember once seeing the concept of defying expectations described as "the musical version of edging" hahahah

Great vid as usual. So for simple application can we think of this as a V - IV ? a less exotic version Gsus4 - G - Fmaj7 creates a similar (less sophisticated) effect, albeit with the IV taking us in a new direction.
