Hands down my favorite Hoarders episode. Just goes to show how long term help and support (like from Paul the housing inspector). I hope Al and Frankie continue to work out.
What a wonderful surprise! I think that Al was just overwhelmed with grief. I am so glad that he was able to get it together and to get Frankie back. What a great guy the inspector is. Frankie is obviously a happy kid and a huge incentive to keep things going. Good job Jill! Dale should be evicted. He is really putting other people at risk. Rodents, roaches, fire hazard. And the taxpayer is really footing the bill for his housing.
I just saw a clip of AL reading to Frankie on a commercial (samsung tv) & I literally YELLED out loud "OMG HE GOT FRANKIE BACK!?" & ran to the internet. This just made my day tbh
Just watched this episode - happy that all has improved for Al and for his son. I was sorrowed by the passing of Paul. Life is so precious. This was one episode where Zasio really played to the cameras. The "cuteness", the almost semi-flirtation is strictly for show, and she was on track with this episode. Most of the other professionals are cordial, kind, able to laugh and deliver a good joke without appearing as if they are acting.
Can you imagine his son watching the episode and hearing his father say that letting go of his hoard was the hardest day of his life... not the day he lost his son.
He probably was just so numb from his wife dying that he wasn't feeling much. When he was letting go of his hoard he was finally feeling again and working through his grief.
I’m so glad Alan is doing better. He was clearly just overwhelmed with grief and I can’t blame him in the slightest. I’m just really happy for both him and his son that things are looking better and I hope Frankie is also in therapy because that kid has been through a lot in his short life. Stories like this are the whole reason I love this show. Sometimes people are just really, really stuck and they need some help to get out of that place. I’m thankful there’s people like Paul in the world to lend a hand to people that are struggling.
Paul’s an absolute legend. He used tough love with Alan and so did Corey, and it finally clicked. So nice to see a success story. Again, Paul and Corey are wonderful gentlemen. RIP Paul
It's always cool to see stories/tv specials that are literally so close to home. There will always be haters, no matter what. I just watched a video on a tornado that nearly flattened my home town... I wrote something similar..guess I'm an attention seeker as well.. 😆 🤷♀️🤪
He shouldn’t have gotten his kid back at all. He’s unfit. If he wanted his kid back he’d have done it the first episode. The second episode he still hasn’t. What a difference between him and his brother. His brother looked human

So sad to see that he passed but i am in tears from him holding onto the watch. You are a real father for earning back your son
Paul is someone else, maybe on the crew. The guys name is Al
Good job Paul! May you rest in peace!
He’s not dead
Ummmm. Paul obviously died.
@@AKGASSULT123 Did you not see the last part of the video? 1958-2015....

One of my favorite episodes..so glad for the happy ending of reuniting father and son. And for Paul.
Aww I'm so glad and RIP Paul
That's great, keep up the good work Al!
So glad he got his son back. His son needs him just as much as he needs his son.. He never gave up on his son. Amazing dad 🙏❤
Kudos, Al! RIP to Paul.

I though the same thing!!!

But did he get the rocking chair back

I'm not crying, YOU'RE crying😭😭😭😭😭
So sad, Frankie is the same age as my son 13.
A great outcome despite the lack of help from his brother and mother in law.
Paul died. As for Alan, is he still alive?
Yes! He is still alive :)
