- What's the best time frame to trade with that will make you the most profits? In this video, I'll reveal the best time frame to trade for beginners. Whether you're a forex trader or stocks trader, you will be able to determine the best trading style and best time frame for you.
I'll talk about the various forex time frames and stock time frames in which you can consider (M5, M15, M30, H1, H4, D1, WK and MTH). A lot of traders make the mistake of choosing the small time frames and end up losing money.
The various time frames cater to different trading style and trading personalities. Some people have a day trading personality and some traders have a more conservative trading personality, which means that they are more suitable for trading larger time frames.
I'll share with you 5 factors to consider when it comes to choosing the best time frame.

What time frame do you trade?
I trade all of them ,I'm still looking for ways to actually make money on demo ha like I try to get the LL & LH or vise versa on the H4 & & then go to H1 to look for clues , then 15min I try to enter , I'm still on my journey but you've helped alot!!! top down analysis done on Weekly>Daily>4Hr>1Hr>15m>5m time frames. Entry at 5 min. Enter from 7 am EST time, exit before 12noon EST.
I made a few trades on the 1M with no indicators other than candlesticks just to get the feel (real time?) and lost most trades of course. But my lot size was only .02 for every trade, so I'm thankful.
...But I can see now from what you explained, that I"m more suited for swing trading. Haven't read up on position trading yet, so I don't really know...

15 min starting to look best for me. I was using the 4hr at first but im seeing inconsistency with it. I feel the 15 min shows levels of whats happening now.

If you're emotional/... Don't like high risk.... Less experienced... Longer time frames.
If you can manage emotion, don't mind high risk, like to see profits from actions immediately... Scalp/ intraday time frames.
Longer swing trading requires higher time frame analysis, as well as corporate, or economic analysis.
Lower intraday time frames requires experience... High risk tolerance and management, and predominantly technical analysis.
Longer swing trades means you'll spend more time researching than time in front of minute chart candles.
Scalping / intraday trading (very short time frames)... Sometimes less extensive research (but still do some)... But the bulk of time and attention will be in front of small time frame candle charts.
Copy and paste this into a translator... But know that scalping has nothing to do with a scalp.
It means being i
Entering and then very quickly exiting that same position. Some people enter them exit three minutes later. Some enter then exit 5 or ten minutes, or thirty minutes later.
This is different from swing trading... Where by you analyze higher time frames and trends... And Also research news and fundamentals (what it's doing... Why is it valued this way right now) .. of the stock, index, commodity, or currency... And just over all health of an industry or economy

Hi Karen, I agree I think swing trading is the most profitable then the panic and hectic trading of a day trader.
Swing trading is much more relaxed and allows you to look more long term and to be more patient while day trading is rushed and hectic and you tend to make mistakes when rushed. Just my opinion
