I'm absolutely gutted... I hope he's okay, as in like- not going through something that will end badly. His message was intensely ominous and dark, it made me so sad and I wished I could reach out to him somehow. Hopefully his former band mates have his back. What a fucked up decade this is turning out to be... Anyway I wanted to say;
his performance in this video's recording of Basketball Shoes is the most miraculous Musical _Experience_ I've had since like... the *Kid Amnesiac Exhibition* on PS5 (highly recommend)! I can't imagine what it was like to be in that room / see them Live! Or what they'll do without him. They're all immensely talented, but like... shit man.
I just found this out because of your comment. I only just got into them a few months ago and was quickly obsessed. This is beyond disappointing; he kinda seems like an irreplaceable member, but I’ll listen to whatever they come up with next.
@@Tannerislegend same for me, i only got into them when chaos space marine was released, i knew about them before but this album is what rly got me into them, what an amazing record that will surely go down as one of the best albums of this decade, still i’m excited what’s next for them. a lot of things they could do with their new material, and they already announced shows with just the 6 of them so prolly hear some of the new material soon

I can’t wait till Issac is feeling well again. We’ll hear his voice again one day. In the mean time, enjoy that we got TWO completely different sounding albums in two years that may have been more groundbreaking than any singular album in the last 10 years as far as the genre goes… IMO. Best wishes issacs and the rest of BCNR

@@alex11v3 oh no, he’s definitely not. I meant in terms of him hopefully pursuing a different project in the future. It was pretty obvious through the statement that his time with BCNR was over for good. Just hope we hear something new from the fella one day!
@spacediino I really enjoyed it when it was first released! And I still do. I can’t say that I just throw it on like I did with the past 2 albums but I’m definitely excited to hear a new release by them.

They’re incredibly gifted at making insanely emotional themes sound beautiful.
Their technical skill and ability to still seamlessly blend it with the emotional heart of the music is absolutely incredible to me. They're as razor sharp as a jazz band, all while the chorus of Chaos Space Marine is bringing tears to my eyes as Issac's voice cracks, the violins sing and ascend... I love this band.
Edit: my deluxe 4 LP vinyl arrived. The second half is this show. I'm so happy to have this all in one set.

Laggiest That’s kinda where it’s headed for me as well, I just still can’t get over Basketball Shoes. It’s one of the most beautiful songs I’ve listened to in a long time. For a while I was exclusively listening to that song nonstop, but I’m finally branching out to the rest of the album haha. I really like Concorde as well
I can’t tell you how hard it is to avoid this video until February 4th…

The songwriting is amazing too, that first verse is one of the most personable parts of the album
heard of the band a while back from some music outlets, never listened to them until Good Will Hunting came on my Spotify For You Mix. after the first chorus i had to stop what i was doing and restart the song to really pay close attention because it blew me away. so thankful that i found their music.
This album has changed my life. It has only been out for a mounth but I listen to it almost every day. I would give anything to be able to say I’ve written Basketball shoes. It is among music history’s greatest tragedies, that Iisac is leaving the group, after such a masterpiece. So wish you the best, what you have created, is fucking amazing.

How are the vocals on the live version of Basketball shoes so much cleaner than the normal live performance audio? Its so much more front and center i literally dont even wanna listen to the official audio anymore lol
the QEH live performances were remixed for some reason, I also prefer the old mix but you can't upload them anymore cause they get instantly copyright claimed and deleted
