The snow makes me think of the cold even though I have never seen it. We are in a heatwave at the moment with humidity level not dropping much below 80%, this morning it was 100% humidity been like that for a week. Thankfully we have air conditioning in our house which is making it bearable. Wonderful to see all the lovely things in the market.

Hi Lauren. I grew up using the marshmallow fluff in hot chocolate. Take a spoonful and hold it down in a cup of hot chocolate till it pops up.
Do not get rid of the Epsom salt. It is good for soaking sprained joints, sore feet, and for home made bath salts.
Here in NH it will be 21 below zero Friday night and 2 below of a high on Saturday. So enjoy your milder weather because you are right, it is not spring yet. You are bound to get really cold again in the next two months.

I love the vintage/antique books in Revive! On my bookshelves I have some Bobbsey Twin books, collections of children's stories from early 1900s (I adore the illustrations), some late-1800s early-1900 history books that my great-grandmother taught from and school books that were my oldest aunt's. I've started collecting the Wizard of Oz books with the white background. My mom bought me some when I was a child. Hooray for books!!

When you and the boys went through the Valentine box's it reminded me of when I was young & we just moved from Massachusetts to California, and my Dear Grammy would send us big boxes of things. She made us clothes, she sent toys & goodies (mostly homemade)...it was a lot of fun!!

I felt like I lived in Alaska these last two weeks here in Fayetteville,Arkansas. Last week I got 10 inches of snow that stayed on the ground for several daysThis week on Sunday night freezing rain, sleet and snow hit. We are cover in ice and schools have been shut down now for three days. It has been below freezing so nothing has melted. Five snow days or what they call Alternate Learning Lessons. I am also ready for spring, I don’t like being stuck in house. Not much on driving on ice even though our town and country drivers have worked very hard on roads but it just keeps on coming.
I learn so much from you about alaska! I could spend a week in that place i love looking for all the hidden treasures!! Love the old books😍 soaps and Godly item signs!💕💕. Thank you so much for sharing🙏🏻🙏🏻

Our weather here has been going through a bipolar rollercoaster: 30s, 40s and 50s during the day and mostly 30s at night, with some 20s sprinkled in. No snow, yet. Sad face. However, there's a chance we may get a little tomorrow evening through THU morning. It's been a very wet and windy winter with occasional sunshiny days. I'm so missing my snow days 🌨️
Revive is such a beautiful, quaint lil shop. I love shops like this, whether buying or browsing. So many wonderful items. It'd be very difficult to choose just one. The artwork, cards, sentiment and biblical art pieces, soaps, headbands, gaiters, teas, spices, beeswax wraps, clothes, accessories, etc. That "Brie Baker" and "Encyclopedia Cookbook" definitely caught my eye. And the spoons that said "Mr Right" and "Mrs Never Wrong" were lovingly made for Mark and I 😂
You definitely should get the Bear and Moose artwork for the boys' rooms and/or bathroom. Beautiful 🐻🦌
I love the soaps and other items from "Revive" and "Bend Soap". I'm not a bath person these days. Oh, I love baths, but my body does not like the getting up and down requirements. Bath scrubs are awesome. Love them... skin gets so soft and silky. I always have some in the shower. My favorite scents are Jasmine, Citrus, Vanilla, Eucalyptus and Coconut. I always stock up at the Feast of Sukkot. Members of our extended fellowship raise their own goats to make their soaps and always have a spot at the Market🐐
Epsom salts... Don't throw them out. They're definitely a non-food pantry staple:
"Epsom salt breaks down into magnesium and sulfate. The theory is that when you soak in an Epsom salt bath, these minerals get absorbed into your body through the skin. This may help relax muscles, reduce swelling and pain from arthritis, and relieve pain from various causes."
"One of the best-known ways to leach heavy metals from the body is through the skin, submerged in a salt bath. The sulphates in Epsom salt help flush out toxins and heavy metals."
Winter + Car Wash = Happy Vehicle. Mark gets all of our vehicles washed at minimum once a month, moreso during Winter if the roads have been salted or gravelled. Gotta remove it before corrosion digs in its claws... don't forget the undercarriage... most important 🧽

Lots of yummy treats. Jelly Belly Jelly Beans are one of my favs. I've never tried Dunkaroos... hmmm. I love making Fluffernutters. My fav recipe follows (I double the filling). Some people eat peanut butter and marshmallow fluff sandwiches. Fluff is good for lots of yummy treats and desserts 😋

Important note (you may already know) about lasers:
They're fun to play with your FurBabies, in this case Luna, but be careful not to shine the laser directly in Luna's eyes or in any human's eyes. Lasers can damage your eyesight, retinas, etc. Play safe 🐱

You should try some Rip's cleats. They're awesome for walking in icy conditions and super easy to wear. It's just a band that slips over your shoe/boot and sits on top of your shoe when not in use. Check them out! We use them with my work (EMS) because you don't need to take them off. Way safer than those full shoe type cleats.
