Our Gas prices have certainly sky rocketed but l feel like l must be the only person on earth that hasn't noticed price rises on groceries, maybe l just never took any notice of the prices previously to compare🤷♀️

Yes and the petrol is cheaper there also than we are currently paying, if you convert how many litres to there gallon we are paying double for petrol than the US and they are complaining about the high prices 😏

I love the Costco hauls. We dont have one near us so i never shopped at one. Looks like some good deals ans unique items, especially seasonal items. I love sweet potato chips that i get at our Aldi's store here. Never thought about putting them on a salad. Great idea. Everett sure loves his samples. Nice seeing Luna too . Fred Meyer is the most expensive store in my area as well. I rarely go there. Prices are high everywhere right now. The prez said there’s food shortages coming, just fyi. Enjoyed this a lot!
Carrs Safeway is probably the highest around here, never even think to go there. Fred Myer is my best option for items that I cannot get at Costco. It is a good idea to have some food storage for these crazy times!

This Alaska life if you did the math for a person it us cheaper them Costco. I do a lasagna for my family and it is 40 for everything but I use a lot of different cheese and I make my meat sauce from scratch. I also divide the cost by how many people are in my family.

I use the Dawn Power wash as a pre treater in my washer...It's the best thing I have found thats gets all the grease out and doesn't leave a weird film stain on my clothes~ also use it as a shower cleaner~ don't really use it for the dishes. I grew up eating the yellow apples~ they are sweeter to me. Haven't seen them in a long time tho. I found Macadamia nut butter a few weeks ago at our local organic store. I bought a small jar just to see if I would like it, I LOVE IT in my morning smoothie with all my vitamins (it has a nice ~not too sweet flavor and best part I my smoothie no longer has my vitamin after taste to it.) That was an amazing price for that size jar I gave a $24.97 for 16 oz jar. I finally broke down and bought a blendjet2 about a week ago. I held strong for over a month then BAM outa nowhere I found myself paying for a Lemon yellow one. They sent me the hard cover smoothie recipe book along with it but every smoothie contains milk and I am not a fan of milk (it all tastes spoiled to me). I am wanting to find a protein powder that actually tastes good not not all chemically...was wondering what kind you buy & why (if you dont mind me asking) Another great haul today... God Bless

Hello Karenlee! It does seem to take a bit to get the refrigerator restocked! The apples were good and crisp and I have enjoyed the crackers. They don't have a ton of flavor but have a great crunch.

I swaped out my fry pans for cast iron and wish I had sooner! The one with lines is for grilling steaks, burgers chicken. And the flat one is great for things like eggs and pancakes! Also they last forever!

Hello, nice haul. I loved the tortellini, hope you enjoyed. That was lots of veggies, I don’t know if you’ve tried them but I use those Debbie Myers bags for the fridge and they work so good at keeping the veggies fresh longer. I totally recommend them. Love Everett, give him a hug for me. 🤗
The macarons are OK. The kids like them, I think they are not really worth the price if I'm being honest but other people seem to like them. The locally made ones have made me biased because they are so good and flavorful!

Just bought those teakwood cuttin boards at Costco in Cali a couple days ago and they were the same price. Most of the stuff y'all show are right around the same price here. Of course Cali is a super expensive place to live.

If l took Everett shopping with me I'd end up with all the things he certainly does up sell a product unfortunately l created a child that tells ME "we don't need it Mum" 😆. Here in western Washington, our Costco prices are about the same as yours. Rao's is definitely more than $8.99 normally. That would be a sale price for us, too. Doesn't make sense but our prices are higher on the west coast than east or midwest.

Hello, nice haul. I loved the tortellini, hope you enjoyed. That was lots of veggies, I don’t know if you’ve tried them but I use those Debbie Myers bags for the fridge and they work so good at keeping the veggies fresh longer. I totally recommend them. Love Everett, give him a hug for me. 🤗

The macarons are OK. The kids like them, I think they are not really worth the price if I'm being honest but other people seem to like them. The locally made ones have made me biased because they are so good and flavorful!
P.S. Every time I make Lasagna I moan about the cost of good ingredients. BUT, homemade is Always Better!

Just bought those teakwood cuttin boards at Costco in Cali a couple days ago and they were the same price. Most of the stuff y'all show are right around the same price here. Of course Cali is a super expensive place to live.
Cali and Alaska are both $$$$ I bought the cutting boards on my next trip for a fun project!
My pile of "didn't know l needed it" far exceeds my actually shopping list so you did better than me!! If l took Everett shopping with me I'd end up with all the things he certainly does up sell a product unfortunately l created a child that tells ME "we don't need it Mum" 😆. Agreed pre made lasagne is so much cheaper l don't even bother with home made any more. Fresh Basil $6:79 😰 l hope it doesn't spoil quickly otherwise ld be really mad. Here in western Washington, our Costco prices are about the same as yours. Rao's is definitely more than $8.99 normally. That would be a sale price for us, too. Doesn't make sense but our prices are higher on the west coast than east or midwest.
Even Fred Meyer seems about the same my Fred Meyer. I have lived in the Southeast and the midwest and they don't pay as much for many items.
Hi Lauren, how old are the boys? Does Hunter go to Junior High, as you always mention he's at a different school to Bennett and Weston? What grades are they in? New here so not quite sure, and trying to piece the Hamm jigsaw together.
Hunter is 12 and in middle school. Bennett is 10, in 5th grade. Weston is 8, in 3rd grade and Everett is 5.
