Question, my ELM327 arrived in ADHOC mode (stupid) for 6 years i would use it searching non stop for an STN or Infrastructre mode or Version of the product, one day i decided to see if port 80 is open , it was (HTTP GUI), i switched it to Station mode, i entered SSD, Encryption (WPA2PSK CCMP) and the key ( even kept a screen shot) the ELM327 connects a few seconds to the AP and disconnects. I made sure the AP is set to the same Encryption type, and key... I even set a static/Fixed in the ELM327 .. Any tips? The unit is close to AP, tried many APs, legacy, wrt54g, dd-wrt. different channels. no go .
Can you reset airbag light with this particular obd2 reader? I have a nissan pixo with airbag light on. I want to clear it and pass the MOT in short term and fix the problem later.

You have to consider that some apps allow to clear error codes and that will turn off the check engine light, but.. if there's a real problem, Car ECU will detect the problem and light it up again. the "Clear codes" is to be used AFTER you fix the real problem.
hi, ive tried all these and as with other elm327s it wont seem to work, i ve followed your instructions to the last letter, in torque it pairs and flashes away but wont connect to the ecu.the blue car on symbol just keeps flashing. what is wrong?? i have a ford focus estate 2003. please can you help.

ELM is the name of the company who built the OBD interpreter IC - ELM Electronics. ELM327 is a product name/code. OBD stands for On-Board diagnostics. II in OBD-II stands for second generation or improved version over OBD-I. ...3 years later... :)
neth sok the auto parts store does sell scanners but not this one... If the vehicle you connect this to has a trans temp sensor it should read it through the OBD port..
@@allenjoseph2564 I've tried to connect to 2000 Ford E350 and a 2028 Dodge Grand Caravan both. Tried several apps and each would connect to device with no internet and I couldn't get any info from device. Any ideas?

they pulled it from IOS . and plan to re-release it. try Engine link app instead
