We really do have to hear people out! I listened to learn your "why" as a married couple that considered this to gain understanding. But oh my goodness, leading up to y'all explaining, I was a bit nervous! It's been disappointing hearing others stories of the destructive ends of their marriages after allowing other ppl in their marriages.

I’m happy Alex was willing to work on childhood trauma. Some people don’t see the value in revisit the childhood trauma which is really a present day ailment. Self sabotage is imminent. I learned in my marriage (only after separation) that I can’t do someone else’s inner work. They have to want that for themselves. Appreciate y’all!!❤

Too many times, including my situation, these things are only recognized in hindsight and often times there so much damage done why try to fix all the holes in the pipe, might as well replace it.
