Happy Holidays, Ellen! This vlog was so cute! I love how far you can zoom in (?) with a camcorder. I added this video to my inspo playlist. I hope to do interviews one day with a camcorder but worry about the audio. Do you have any tips when shooting and editing camcorder footage?
Ah, the Zoom! I wish I had brought it with me to that one concert at the stadium. It's so good! This camcorder has great audio, and I've never had any problems with it. When you're doing those interviews, make sure to have a backup audio recording with your phone in case you don't end up liking the quality from the cam-or test it out first. I really like the sound I get from the cam. As for tips, I treat this cam like a tool for capturing personal moments in life, without worrying too much about whether it'll do well on RUclips or not. So, I just keep shooting (follow my usual format, get b-roll, etc.), and I'm less strict with myself when putting the footage together. I like the raw and intimate vibe I get from it. But if you meant technical tips, the battery surprisingly can last for hours. The footage I shoot isn't in 4K, so it's honestly easy to edit. In fact, I've edited some camcorder footage on my iPad. hahaha I hope this makes sense
Watching nowwww
