He said it in an intervew in Cairo in 2019 (i think) that he was searching for THE leather jacket that would fit him,guess he finally found it

say sike rn. The story of Sahar is arguably the most important part! the poems are all connected, even if Tamino himself doesn't realise it. All of the songs surround the relationship of the "layers" of the self that were spoken about in the interview, especially as it relates to time and change. I will mail my annotated lyric booklet from the vinyl to prove it.
Also, i'd love it if someone spoke about the way that masculinity and submission are framed in Amir and Sahar. Two themes that carries over from Amir and I think I can honestly say that I have never heard a male artist define his masculinity with such gentleness and devotion to service-- both towards others and the self. God, I want to pick his brain so bad.

I also wanted to note, really glad he mentions the audio sensitivity issues. Mostly bc I also am trying to work through these and am planning to try Loops or calm. Anyhow, makes me feel a little more normal hearing someone more famous talk about this.
