Haruna is the most elegant playing drummer worldwide. She can put the suitable accent in a good moment. Her doble base is unrepetaible. World class. One of the best drummer world wide. If it comes the solos, vocal and bass_no comment. From another galaxy.😎
Miyako mentioned that when she composed this song, one of the major inspirations was for her and Midori to play that harmonized section LIVE. As for Haruna, she highlighted in an interview that she worked with medical/fitness professionals to refine her drumming technique that will sustain her for Lovebites nearly 2-hour, nearly 20-song concerts. She doesn't want to injure herself during some of Lovebites very hectic and grueling concert/tour schedules.

The thing with Haruna, is that she is a very 'efficient' drummer. She has to be, to be able to keep up that pace for the nearly 2 hour concerts. And to my mind, she is a very 'musical' drummer too. And yes, as you noted the kit is miked up so well, and the EQ is so precise through the desk, that we get that wall of sound the little Princess delivers.
The trick with Haruna is that you DON’T have to smash the crap out of the kit to make it sound incredible… newsflash to all the drummers out there!!! 👀 It’s the same as a guitarist that thinks turning everything to 11 is the sweet spot. Nope. Haruna is 4’10” tiny ! She’s so cute and never breaks a sweat or misses a beat. The “little big engine” indeed! 🤘🎸🐺
Thank you for your reaction to LOVEBITES. Very nice reaction. In the MV for "Stand And Deliver", Haruna plays air guitar, imitating Midori and Miyako's synchronized tapping. Thank you for your continued support of LOVEBITES.
Part of Haruna's secret is incredible economy of motion. She may not hit as hard as Bonzo, but she hits pretty hard, and she can keep it up for two hours because there is no wasted motion.
easily in my top 5 LOVEBITES songs and 2nd favorite solo section after 'when destinies align'. oops almost forgot about 'scream for me. ! this is a song you must see mr. relic for the amazing guitar work and i,m all in on your older reactions too - seeing as i grew of age in the 60's. here's 'scream for me' : ruclips.net/video/46z-13l2oNs/видео.html
Haruna is a very efficient drummer, which I think she needs to be to go as fast as she does for 2 hours without a break. She does a lot more than many other rock drummers - she doesn't just keep the beat - she plays her kit like a musical instrument, with fills and cymbal work squeezed into the song at just about every opportunity.
If you’ve never listen to We the United ( Heavens Gate Version), you should give that one a listen. You also get a little smile out of Miyako on that one. Also Spellbound if you want to see Miyako’s playful side.
Love Miho and her Steve Harris imitations (her idol). Haruna explodes on that kit, don't be fooled as she never wastes any motion but that kit feels like it tangled with an MMA champion at the end of the night. Trust me if Haruna drove the way she plays no one would be safe on the road. WARNING...Haruna has a rabid fanbase within the Wolfpack and if you EVER say anything against her they likely will hunt you down and tie you to that kit and you will soon learn how soft she hits (LOL!!!!!). This is Mr. Spock's song......the M&M show puts on a full Vulcan mind meld on display with that harmonizing guitar performance. One of their best although not reacted to often so salute to you!!! Hey for your "oldies" do Jimi's Hey Joe LIVE at Monterey Pop (1967). My husband was there before he shipped out to Nam and he still is stunned every time he sees it (upside down right handed guitar restrung for lefty Jimi, plays with his mouth and behind his head..total showman) Here is the link for your show ruclips.net/video/GSVVTjj9AQI/видео.html

Haruna is amazing drummer, you cab check on Soldier Stand Solitarily, Live version, its from they latest album, this all talented musician, thank you reacting Lovebites, great comment, carry on 👍👍
They way their songs were constructed, Haruna has such a great technique so everything are very close to her and her technique allow her to create a great, clear sound of her drums through out a hight octane concert. Btw, she's only 4'9" in height.
A knowledgeable reactor said that Haruna was an efficient drummer and also the mikes positioning was important. Yep, once again Midori and Miyako show off their guiar skills.
Thanks for sharing your LOVEBITES experience with us! Your appreciation for Haruna's drumming is mutual. Here is a playlist of songs with her drums enhanced in the 'mix' for clarity. ruclips.net/p/PLDrelmq7IszKuEUqRuDCXMtVuvQC0u-Ye Two of the songs, "Raise Some Hell" & "Golden Destination" are 'drum-cam' videos. Mostly songs she recently performed at her 360°View DRUMMING event where attendees gather closely around her at her kit to watch as she plays. I would LOVE to be at one of those events! 🐺 dreg👁
For the sound of the drums, there are sensors (triggers) on the heads that control the drum sounds recorded in a computer programme. So what we hear is not just the direct sound of her drums, but we hear over the top the programmed sounds that she triggers herself by hitting the toms, which allows her to play less powerfully but with a big sound. I'm a drummer, almost metal drummers does this. Sorry for my English, I'm talking to you from France.
Haruna learned how to be as efficient as possible because she needs to last for a two hour concert. Reducing unnecessary body movements saves energy. The same way guitar players learn to be efficient with their fingers. Case in point - watch the guitar tapping duet again and look closely at Midori's fret hand and compare it to Miyako's fret hand. At the time of this video, Midori had better form than Miyako, who was self-taught. Midori was trained in musical school how to be efficient with her fingers. Miyako's fingers show more movement, yet they both produce the same sound. Miyako has improved since then. But the point is you can make the same sound and use less energy if you learn how to reduce extra body motions. It shows that you are more advanced of a musician
Exactly, I agree with you word to word. Midori's fingers always look like even not moving and Miyako's fingers move dramatically, and I believe that is because Midori's got proper training. Haruna said in an interview that she sings songs while they are playing songs to be reluxed, otherwise she would be too intense and difficult to keep her in shape through the show.
I was going to make a similar comment. I will add that Midori's "loud" facial expressions contrast with her silky smooth finger motion, and Miyako's "silent" face is betrayed by her fingers, especially the flailing pinky! These things make them all the more fun to watch.
Yes, I do scan for LOVEBITES reactions which is why I don’t subscribe to the channel. My subscription list would be in the thousands, and, aside from one or two channels where people much younger than us react to music we used to consider the norm, I just can’t subscribe to everyone. I was in the audience at Sapporo and Osaka on the 9th and 15th September last year and was privileged to be able to watch in awe as the best guitar duo ever performed their party piece…no catwalk unfortunately. Next time you watch this I guarantee that as the lights turn deep red and M & M walk towards one another and then up the catwalk, you’ll definitely get goosebumps knowing what’s coming.
Great reaction Scotty, as usual! Just a thought. You might try a screen format like Wave Potter uses. I spent over a year helping him build his channel from 3-4K subs to almost 100K now, so we figured out a lot of stuff along the way. When you overlay yourself on the video there are times the viewers won't be able to see certain things, especially YOYOKA / Haruna (and others) drummer foot cams, but also closeup shots of our Lovebites girls shredding solos (like at 4:54, 6:31, 7:40 in this vid). Maybe take a look at this and see if you like it. I've shown it to 5 reactionists and 4 adopted it. Thanks again Scotty! Here is a link to his layout. Always appreciate your comments Glen. I did go and check it out. I like the set up. The reason I have done it the way I have is to give the artist the largest platform (literally) and to make myself small and rather insignificant. I may give this new approach a try. My wife's got some health issues that are going to keep me from recording anything new for a couple of weeks. I already have videos done and queued up til the end of May. Thanks for your advice. If you've got any other tips - lay 'em on me! I'm only a few months into this project and am entirely winging it! :)
@@RockandRollRelic Wingin' it works. You will get all the help you need from the awesome fans of all the Japanese female bands, you know them. I get what you're saying about giving them the full screen, but I think being able to see the foot cams and other awesomeness shown in close ups is a better trade off. Whatever works for you is good.
@@RockandRollRelic Since you asked. I didn't go back and see how you pause your videos, but I left this comment on another channel and saved it. Very useful info. "Couple keyboard tips: When you pause the video you can use the left arrow key to go back 5 seconds and can hit it as many times (and as fast) as you want for additional 5 sec increments (i.e., 6 times is 30 seconds). Much cleaner than wandering around with the mouse on the time bar. I would suggest any time you pause the video to automatically hit it once (or twice) so nothing is missed when you restart. Also, for those times when you want to see how something is done that is too fast (even for slow mo), like when Misa changes back and forth from slapping and picking, she tucks her pick up into her hand then back again, you can hit the " < " or the " > " to go backwards and forwards. This will take you frame by frame (most are 30 frames per second). You can hit it once or many times in rapid succession, but you have to pause the video first. You are actually using the lower case which is the " , " and " ." but it's easier to remember which key if you remember it's the " < " or the " > " on the keyboard. The arrows (upper case) can actually be used to increase or decrease the video speed by .25x each time you hit the key. So to go to half speed just hit it twice (takes you from 1.0 to .75 to .5 speed). Sounds complicated but it's real easy if you play with it for about 30-40 seconds (the first time), after that easy. You can adjust the video speed with or without pausing the video. Hope this is useful."
Harupi is incredible. I'm glad the band is giving her many moments to shine during concerts... she has too much fun on stage😆🤘 The last person I saw smiling like a maniac while beating the s*it of something/someone was ex-UFC fighter Matt Mitrione lol😂 but Haruna is not far from that🤣🤘🐺🤘
Miyako and Midori are so in sync I swear they're connected by Bluetooth, remarkable when you consider they only took up the guitar aged 18 & 20 respectively🤘

LOVEBITES - Signs of Deliverance lyrics:
Locked inside of the dark
You can't see me with your eyes
A prisoner of your past
You're so far away from me
Hiding will not save you
You're just drowning in your dreams
Close your eyes and feel your heart
Cause our time is limited
A trivial fatalist
Rusty activist
All you do is breathe out poison
Like a ghost with no place to go
Can you hear? This is my word
Brave until the end
In this moment, we're alive
Even though the sadness will never fade
Brave until the end
I won't cry for yesterday
I am here, and I will go on living day to day
We are all in solitude
Even with a fragile heart
Your true face under a mask
No one knows who you really are
A trivial fatalist
Rusty activist
All you do is breathe out poison
Like a ghost with no place to go
Can you hear? This is my word
Brave until the end
In this moment, we're alive
Even though the sadness will never fade
Brave until the end
I won’t cry for yesterday
I am here, and I will go on living day to day
SOLO: both
Brave until the end
In this moment we're alive
Even though the sadness will never fade
Brave until the end
I won't cry for yesterday
I am here, and I WILL go on
Brave until the end
In this moment, we're alive
I am here, and I will go on living day to day

M & M proving once again there are no better dual lead guitarists out there. This song kicks ass! 🎸🎸🥁💥🤘
Haruna plays a hybrid kit. She has triggers on her drums.
M&M the best double guitars in the business!! Lovebites tules! I see them lie on June 18 Lindau, Germany.
