Hey everyone! I'm so grateful for all the support for Mall Wizard!! I've seen a few comments about the similarities between The Wizard and Steve from Bigtop Burger and I wanna say yes! I absolutely love BTB and this short is in many ways inspired by its humour! Shows like BTB, Sublo & Tangy Mustard and others are what inspired me to get into indie animation and create my own stuff online. I was also heavily inspired by those AI "Wizards in fast food kitchens" pictures. I honestly made this short for fun and to decompress after my last huge project, Hugo's Mind Palace, so I kinda just threw in everything I thought was funny lol. Also, in terms of The Wizard's voice, its a voice I've been doing for years in my D&D campaigns!
I hope to continue this series in a more unique and original direction so stay tuned!

This is too good of a concept for this to not have any more shorts or continuations. I also love the character of the wizard, though his voice is often much calmer then his wacky movements which is a bit disorienting.
Also, just turning the costumers into skeletons is flipping hilarious.
Keep it up. Love seeing the clever stuff you make!
honestly, i love his calm voice in goofy scenarios. really makes it feel like this is "normal" for him and exemplifies how comparitively strange he is to anyone else.

I envy the girl that said she always feared death. I've been having these anxieties surrounding death for a long while now. I constantly fear the passage of time and seeing my age number tick up one by one. It's all been keeping me from engaging and enjoying life. I know that I'm only 25 and shouldn't be having these feelings and yet here I am
I don't know if I'm envious of the girl's peace of mind or the fact that they're essentially immortal now. I just hope one day I'll be able to make peace with death

I absolutely love this. Love the premise just tired done normal person, meets all mighty magical mythical person. And I love the art style. Even the little flair going off model using real lips randomly. Love it. Really gives me like Billy and Mandy vibes love it.

yoo i think youve got a great comic here, bro. the animation is super cool. i love the wizards mouths when hes talking and i love how jovial and expressive he is. i hope his coworker develops an interesting character throughout the series. these are quite a dynamic duo!

Delightful stuff, getting a little bit of Worthikids vibes in the character's diction and line delivery, which I mean as high praise. The high concept you've established and the set design is fantastic and full of potential. I'll definitely be keeping my eyes open for any new installments, until then, great work and happy holidays.

I really hope that you see this, but this truly is something that inspired me today. For such a simple three minute cartoon, it has a lot of surprising depth, and intrigue to it. Seriously, this is really really good. I love the concept so much, and it’s so simple. I would literally cry if I saw a TV show like this.

Editing this after 4 months because I realized that there is actually a reference to hmp on one of the t-shirts at 2:40! Obviously doesn’t prove any in-universe connections, but I wanted to point it out nonetheless
He said on stream that mall wizard and Hugo aren’t in the same universe, but since Hugo and the gang are dimension hoppers there’s some slight chance for crossover.
